Has anybody recently had this happen on fab?
Recently came across someone who appeared legit. Eventually got talking via another app and got invited to chat on a video call
Shortly after the call ended I got bombarded with messages and screenshots of my private social media along with a screen record of our cam chat, the person demanded money in return of privacy. Just want to give others a heads up to be careful out there. I have recently gone through all my socials and clamped down on privacy and password changes done. Definitely keeping things here from now on |

I'd have gone to the police BUT ...... it's hardly likely to happen to me as I don't dash off to use other apps in the hope of getting pumelled.....

It is tough though because other apps can prove they are really them whereas this site doesn't really...

A long time ago I got messages telling me I was a naughty girl and they were going to out me to our boss.

I imagine it'd be awful in some cases other than cheating, and "bring profession into disrepute" clauses might apply in others |

Fair response so far, just to clarify I did report them via admin and they have since been removed from this site. I could have reported to police but like others said I’m sure my friends wouldn’t be bothered, I just blocked them and carried on with life |

I mean alot of people have relatives and things on social media...and videos of wanking etc are still not ideal are they to have our there. I don't think it's as fine as you're making it out to be! |

Sorry but if you’re going to share your phone number with a total stranger then you only have yourself to blame. Why people open themselves up to this kinda thing is beyond me.

The work side of it I can understand.
If that is a real concern then yeah, pretty awful and I can’t imagine a pleasant feeling.
But if it’s literally just a privacy thing and threats to tell your friends on your social media platform then fuck, I’d beat them to it. |

My mum changed me for years.
She’s seen my dick more than anybody I’ll be cracking one off to on WhatsApp.
I’m just talking from my point of view, I wasn’t speaking for everybody.

Don't have your mobile number linked to any social media, have it private.
Unfortunately this is a thing, it's more of a scare tactic.
Probably in the hope that it's someone cheating or in the case of their job no one wants that.
Best thing to do is report to admin OP which you did.
Also if this every happens to anyone go to the police, this is a thing that they're use to.

I had this some years ago. Not from Fab though. Chatted with female on another app. No phone number. Several times in about week. No nudity from me . Made mistake of giving surname . Yes some sex talk. As OP got messages saying video going to be put on social media site. Named family , friends, work people etc. Who were friends and would be able to see. I very quickly locked down who could see view account. Refused and did contact police. I was single. Refused to pay. After couple days of messages they gave up. |

Yep. I had it around 10 years ago.
Hard for the bosses to prove it was me when I didn't show my face on here, there were no full frontal nudes identifying me, my ink had been hidden, my names was different, as was my age and location.
And people still wonder why some change minor details about themselves in the name of discretion.....
