Go mad because I was off work for 3 months during the lockdown and I thought I was going insane. Just think about it this way you have a year off but all your family and friends are still working so you'll be bored off your tits at home on your own. |

Travel the lengths of the country as it is for work usually take 3mths off apr/may/june go somewhere hot by myself live 5* then head home back to reality & groundhog day all for fat tax rebate every yr |

Technically you'd still have the same amount of outgoing bills commuting aside so would you be well off enough to go traveling?
Personally I'd catch up with the thousand or so job's round the house such as clearing the loft. |

i took a year off work, went on holiday to Thailand, Crete, Rhodes, Cyprus, Malta, Gran Canaria-several times and travelled to Munich, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Tilburg, Utrecht, Leyden and Antwerp for rock music gigs.
Couldn't do that now because of the brexit bastards restricting travel to the EU |

I'd probably just keep myself to myself and be wary of suddenly spending beyond my means just because I have more free time. Yes, I'm very fun at parties  |

enjoy life, taking my parents away on hols. to any destination in the World they wanted to go & then maybe solo travel backpacking my way through World locations never visited before...! |

Real life carries on, you'd still have bills etc to pay so out of the ordinary holidays would be off.
Personally I'd use extra free time to get fit, to write. |
