I don’t watch it .. but it’s just a bit of light relief isn’t it at the end of the evening?
Leave your brain at the door after a hard day, enjoy it and the escapism it brings.
Got no problems with it even though it’s not for me, so I won’t get all superior about it. Not like Love Island mind .. I mean!!! 
Mind you, I love the Masked Singer and the that’s mental! |

the title is a misnomer, most of the contestants are either has-beens or people that are only known to their mates, add to that the odd person who everyone knows but dislikes eg Hancock [not really 'celebrities'].
Today progs like this and Love Island, Big Brother, the cabins etc. in the future the running man, the long walk and hunger games.
