The artist who illustrated, among others, Marshall Law, The League of Extraordinarily Gentlemen and Nemesis the Warlock has died.

Sad news. I loved his work.

Nemesis was probably my introduction to the lovely works of weird. He was a great, distinctive artist.

That is sad news. His very distinctive style was perfect for Nemesis.

Incredibly talented.

Didnt he also do Robo Hunter and The ABC Warriors too sometimes?

(I only ever saw his 2000AD work).

My personal favourite artist, Steve Dillon, died in 2016. He was originally from my estate in Luton.

I went to a Steve Dillon exhibition at the Luton Arts Centre in June this year.

Lots of artwork on display...from 2000AD, DC and Marvel...and even incredible doodles he did while at school. His talent was obvious from very early on.

Hopefully we dont lose Glenn Fabry anytime soon.

If you haven’t see it seek out Futureshock the story of 2000AD. I rewatched it earlier, it’s a great doc and its cool seeing Kevin on there talking about his time at 2000AD

Buster and Whizzer & Chips. I do remember 2000AD: where Sylvester Stallone's character Judge Dredd existed in print until the film came out. It's almost as if Stallone and Dredd are THE LAW.

(I own one of those Match box Land Raiders)

RIP Kevin
