We love KSE and have seen them a few times with both vocalists (Howard is our favourite) but may wait until other bands confirm before we decide.

I think there were a few more than that when I saw them at the Marquee. Not loads though. Loved bands like sick of it all, life of agony, dog eat dog and madball from that era.

Bloodstock isn't usually my scene, but there are a few bands that I quite like on the lineup this year. I imagine there's a lot of very indignant "gatekeeper" types!

We've been wondering for ages, I wonder if any swingers go to Bloodstock or other metal festivals. Never occurred to us we could just simply search the forums, ffs haha! We will be going, can't wait!

Outside of jokes and a bit of friendly pisstaking I've never saw any real gatekeeping at bloodstock. It's a great weekend, just don't break your face bin jousting like I did a few years back

I'd wager your average person maybe knows 1 or 2 bands on the bloodstock line up. Usually the headliners. It's far from mainstream, download I'd agree with.

It is a mainstream ‘rock / metal’ festival.

It’s not really any different to download…. Most the band on the 2023 line up have played download…. Just 20 years ago…

Unlike festivals such as Damnation or Supersonic.

Love Bloodstock! With the exception of 2020 when it wasn't on, I (Enn) have been every year since my first one in 2006, so have seen tne festival grow to what it is now.

I'm going on behalf of my mental health/music organisation. We are volunteering for the Wellbeing tent cos music is amazing therapy but sometimes you need someone to talk to.

Come say hi. Hoping to bring an air conditioner!

Who are people looking forward to seeing? I am a massive Killswitch Fan and sadly got into Thrash too late so be the first time I see Megadeath.

Decapitated are amazing and switched me to death metal which I had previously been really snobby about.

Sadly haven’t been since 2017 as it’s difficult for us to do a full weekend due to family commitments, and even then it was only because I was playing (mr), we have however managed to go to damnation for the last 2 years and we go to several gigs throughout the year! Hope you have a blast guys, we’re very jealous! Stay metal! Xxx
