What are security checks like on boarding ferry at Hull? Are you allowed to take food and alcohol etc

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

The last time I went from Hull to Rotterdam was 1993, it was for an ex g/f's Brother's wedding in Germany. There were about 20 of us in 2 Mini Busses, we took plenty over with us

Hull

We went a couple of weekends ago.

we were told it was really strict for taking alcohol. So we didn't take any lol

When we got there a lady at the door asked if we had any, we said no and that was that lol

We spoke to some people on the ferry that had taken their own onboard so I guess it's the luck of the drew really.

I'd say if you get stopped and they ask if you have just said yes and they'll take it away.

You can take snacks and stuff.

Ps it's bloody expensive on the ferry, cost £6 for a bottle of Rekorderlig Strawberry and Lime Cider

Curls x
