Surely part of the reason someone's a vegan is compassion and caring for others?
So it seems kind of counterintuitive for them to allow anyone to die
Also how does that work practically - someone's having a heart attack 'oh excuse me do you eat meat?, Can't administer CPR until I know' |

I am unsure anyway how much that aliens from the star Vega like human beings, we do not have the best record for welcoming people that are a different colour to us. So not surprising that Vegans might not give us the kiss of life, but possibly wise if they breathe chlorine or something. |

Cows produce massive amounts of greenhouse gases- i eat cows so i am indirectly saving the planet one steak at a time… put that in your bamboo & hemp pipe and smoke it… actually don’t because it’s bad for the environment… see another planet saving measure.. i must be due an award or something!! |

If a vegan gave mouth to mouth to a non-vegan, have they broken their abstinence if they swap spit?

More likely when the giant conglomerates have bought up all the meat producers and then cut production.
Then, with all plants being grown in factories due to soil degradation, they can charge wtf they want for an impossibly nutrionless meal. |

Maybe counterintuitive, but also logical: if we care about total happiness in the world, both now and in the future (unfortunately we can’t change the past), then it’s makes sense not to save non-vegans.
Except in practice. Better strategy not to annoy everyone and to appear “nice”.
But I’m guessing the philosopher was just having a fun little ironic frolic. |
