Donald Trump won't return to Twitter until after midterm elections...

The former US President was banned from the social media platform after the Capitol riots last year but Musk has revealed that he disagreed with the decision and is planning to review the ban.

Despite this, the world's richest man says it will take several weeks to bring back previously banned users.

Musk, who secured a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter last week, said: "Twitter will not allow anyone who was de-platformed for violating Twitter rules back on platform until we have a clear process for doing so, which will take at least a few more weeks."

The midterm elections will take place on Tuesday (08.11.22) and a proportion of seats in the House of Representatives and the Senate will be contested.

There are concerns that Trump, and candidates endorsed by the former president, are willing to dispute polls at the upcoming vote.

The politician and his supporters have continued to claim that he was a victim of election fraud after losing the 2020 presidential vote.

A post from Trump on his Truth Social website - linked to a story claiming voter fraud in Pennsylvania - read: "Here we go again. Rigged election!"

The ex-president has yet to confirm if he will return to Twitter following Musk's takeover but applauded the tech billionaire's acquisition of the site.

He wrote on Truth Social: "I am very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that truly hate our country."

Holy Cow Batman....I hope he doesn't come back....

Republicans will take the house and the senate. So biden will be even more of a lame duck president than he already is.

On the matter of election deniers, we should probably be removing hilary clinton from social media also then...

2016. She spent the next 4 years proclaiming trump to be an illegitimate president, amongst other ways of discrediting his win.

Still think theyll take the senate as well but that will be a photo finish alright

I give it 20 years before a civil war breaks out there or some sort armed conflict . The country is just getting more divided each month and with each election seems more radical ideas are being put forward by more extreme candidates

Yes she did, and there was a transfer of power, then spent the next 4 years denying it! That cant be ignored. Trump has been acting the clown since 2020 but it shouldnt be forgotten that hilary and lots of her cronies were trumpeting similar nosnense all throughout his term

Nope …. always admitted that she lost under the system that was at hand.. she basically lost by 70,000 votes over 4 different states!

Not one person said that the 2016 election was rigged… in fact during debate 3 when they were both asked if they would accept the results if it was close only one of them said yes!!!

So please… stop putting out disinformation

President Biden a lame duck…? Not according to the metrics but out by NBC who state….”

Trump vowed to remake the government using executive orders he said would quickly undo many of the Obama administration's policies. According to NBC News’ count, he signed 29 in his first 100 days. But Biden, who vowed to undo many Trump policies using executive orders, signed more than 40 in his first 100 days, according to the Federal Register. (Obama signed 19.)

Trump, through his first 100 days, signed 29 pieces of legislation into law. Biden, on the other hand, has signed only 11, according to the White House. But his Covid-19 relief package was much larger than any of the measures Trump enacted during the same time frame. Thirteen of those were measures that undid Obama-era rules and laws, including one that had banned mentally ill people from being able to buy guns.

While Trump received a lot of attention for the large number of federal judges he appointed to the bench in his four-year term, Biden has actually outpaced him in judicial nominations through 100 days, having already made 14. Trump nominated two through his first 100 days and Obama, three.

By the 100-day mark, Biden has held a similar number of solo press conferences and visited a similar number of states as Trump did; neither had yet visited any foreign countries.

What about golf? Trump hit the links far more than Biden did in 100 days. A lot more.

Another telling comparison is how the approval ratings through 100 days of all three presidents stack up. At around the 100-day mark, 53 percent of Americans said they approved of the job Biden was doing. At the same point, just 41 percent said the same of Trump. Obama, by contrast, saw 65 percent of Americans approve of the job he was doing 100 days in.

So, the facts don’t support your ‘Lame Duck’ assertion.

NBC? You might as well be quoting fox news re trump...thats how partial NBC are when it comes to the dems. They are effectively democrat activists. Some of those cherry picked stats above are just laughable...since when is a raft of exec orders a good thing? Thats effectively a shorthand way of getting things throgh without going through congress. Biden is incapable of holding press conferences that dont involve pre set softball questions from the media, a fact which was exposed last year. Lets not get started on his gaffes, which are getting more worrying each passing week, 'end of sentence, repeat the line', scanning the audience for a person that died last year and only last week saying his son, who died of cancer in the US, died in iraq. Sweet mother of god

Because she can see him for the stupid "bastard" that he is?
