Why let it bother you?
That's exactly what they wanted to achieve with their twat-waffle nastiness.
Bin their message and forget they exist.
Often, if I get a narky vibe from a first message, I'll just not answer or I'll block before sending my response. You can always tell when there's a higher chance they'll spit their dummy out at a polite no. |

Well no, really means cno. I had someone follow me into the threads the other day after I'd blocked them... I wouldn't fizz over the whale comment though. I was just annoyed they were looking for 'she's a twunt, and I'm a really nice guy!' feedback after I'd literally blocked because I didn't want to chat.... Welcome to the Internet  |

To be honest and even though I've been here years I don't think I've ever had a horrible message back from saying no, that said it's very rare I say no...I normally block to be honest.
It's very easy to say don't let nasty comments bother but it would bother me no end, hence why I don't give them a chance x |

As I already said in a previous post here today, this is just one of the pleasures that comes with a free swingers' site...every obnoxious flotsam and jetsam looking for a shag, and every troll not even remotely interested in the swinging scene.
I'll prepare to be shot down in flames for this, but when sites charged membership around 20 years ago, these types of arseholes were almost non-existent. The fact you had to pay a yearly membership sorted out the shit from the gold. |

We had this the other day from a couple (well that’s what the profile said) we politely turned them down and they came back with insults and as we were reporting them for it they blocked us. I will say in fairness to the single males most of them are usually pretty accepting of a rejection especially if they’ve taken the time to read the profile and it’s fairly obvious that most of them don’t. |

The number of fab members that aren't site supporters is astonishing, keep seeing the message limit reached comments in the status posts locally. It's not that expensive anyway, but an annual charge is something we'd pay if it keeps the moron numbers down, but that's not a given is it. |

I am sure I will get called the white knight for this, However, I don't understand sending an abusive message because somebody said no thanks. Did he think after calling you a fat whale you were suddenly going to change your mind? The only thing I can think of is those guys sending an abusive message after getting a no thanks think you should be grateful they asked to meet you. I've also been on paid for swingers' websites in the early 2000s, and whilst it may not keep every arsehole away, it really does reduce the number of them. I have to admit that I personally haven't witnessed any increased sense of entitlement with that, though.
Of course, you're always going to get idiots in every walk of life, but at least the thought of having to pay, say, £50 - £80 a year to join would put off the worst of the vermin. They would happily go elsewhere where they can make a pest of themselves free of charge. |

I don’t give that right away easily, never to strangers, colleagues or fairweather friends and far from being closed off to people, I’ve found I’m actually much more open and understanding that they have issues that make them react in ways I may not like but can still choose not to give crap about.
