I used to be very good at it until my balls dropped. Now I couldn't hold a tune if my life depended upon it... doesn't stop me from getting pissed and murdering Sweet Caroline at karaoke though  |

I was the same so now have a rice cooker and it's perfect every time.
I'm rubbish at being organised! Paperwork, housework, replying to messages ... Never seem to have enough time! So if anyone wants to come and sort me out, that would be great

small pot with a well sealed lid. It does not really matter if you rinse rice or put the rice in the pot dry but put the exact same measure of water to rice. (no salt) Placed on a medium ring on the lowest heat possible and just keep your eye on the steam till it dies down a bit. Switch of gas/electric if you smell any burning. Do not remove lid but you can look into the pot and see if there is any water swilling around, if there is just keep it on the heat till the rice is dry. You will get the hang of it eventually and you will get perfect rice every time. If you are using brown rice just add a little more water |

I have a Cuisineart Rice cooker with steamer still boxed, never used which came as part of a job lot at an auction. You can have it for free, if you are willing come and collect it |

Sewing, hence why I have an ever growing carrier bag full of badges to sew onto my camp blanket.
Being organised and keeping things tidy, although I generally know where things are.
I'm really bad at taking compliments too, think it's the years of bullying making me think people are just taking the piss  |

Boiled eggs ...... always hit or miss with me.
I used to say I was indulging my kids mashing them in a cup for them ..... but really though I'd scoop them into the cups to check them and if they were too runny I could zap in the microwave for a few seconds to stiffen them a bit.  |

Cooking, all of it, I'm rubbish at it. I can cook basic good old british meals but I can't do fancy things.
I'm also not very good at what I relate to as 'mens jobs'. Yes I know its sexist but I can't change a plug, or even a bulb, or drill or decorate or mow the lawn. I'm rubbish at it (actually that's just an excuse for not doing it as its mans work). |

Ironing & pastry.
I can cook, bake, but i can not for the life of me do pastry.
My grandma taught me loads but even she now tells me to buy the frozen stuff
Dealing with sick. Im not good at that either

One cup easy cook rice.. two cups water pinch salt , simmer low heat 20 mins lid on tight do not open the lid till done |

Rinse your rice before you start cooking it and also again about halfway through everyone always compliments me in mine tesco long grain in the blue and clear packet cooks really good |
