Shouts our to the pubs that give you pleasure.

Currently I'm in the Devonshire Arms in Camden. Very popular with the metal head crowd. Great music, a fair bit of eye candy and they sell "normal lager"!!!!

Whats your pub of choice?

It's years since I've been in the Dev!

I don't have any local pubs worth bothering with (other than one that's a few miles walk in the countryside but nice on a summer night) but when I lived on Camden i had a few, The Elephants Head was a favourite and while I can't remember what it's called the pub where the Black Heart now is was great as the tourists missed it!

The Station, just across the road from me which has recently reopened after having been closed for the past 5 years. They sell proper beer at decent prices, have live music on at the weekends, and I'm gonna join the darts team when that's all up and running. Oh and they show all Derby County matches as well

So many good country pubs round ere, but The Otter Inn is lovely on a sunny day, sitting by the river with a zider or three!

Is The Dublin Castle still going? I used to go most weekends!

I like the Gipsy Moth in Greenwich because it's next to the Cutty Sark and the markets.

It's also nice to sit in when it's pouring with rain because of the noise of the rain on the perspex roof.

It was a toss up between the elephants head or the Dev.

Never been in The Dev...but i did go in its previous incarnation, The Hobgoblin.

Much better crowd and music than the usual pubs in London.

The Horn in St Albans is great too. Loads of live music. Pool tables, juke box.

I have had built a big garden room in my back garden with a bar, record player, alexa etc. I visit every night to chill out. My local pub shut and is now a house so this was my only option.

I'm surprised I don't go there more often. The metal munch was their last month but I work friday nights so I'd have to leave early.

It was a venue but to be honest also had the fel of a squat! Great for a gig though, it was on the road with all the guitar shops.

Though I'm now also remembering the dodgy drinking den near Bradley's Spanish Bar near Oxford Street

The George. Though, when the ggrandaughter and I rucked up for breakfast last Friday. The pub had about 10 people at the time and I was asked "Have you booked?"

But for my ggrandaughters delicate earholes, it was on the tip of my tongue to say, are you taking the p***!

If I’m staying local, then The Greyhound as they have regular live music on, and get some really good bands in.

But one of my favourite places is The Sound Bar in Skipton. It’s a bar and record shop, It has recently moved to larger premises. But has still kept the great atmosphere.

I have issues with pub reservations. It's a pub not a restaurant and some people at pubs have now started queuing at the bar like at the supermarket. It's a bar?!!!

Totally agree with you. But to be fair: The George is a Beefeater restaraunt.

The overall impression was that I was doing them a flavour by stopping by and sampling their breakfast.
