It's been confirmed that the application to quash the existing Inquest verdicts will be heard in the High Courts on Wednesday 19th December 2012, with the Attourney General presenting the case for the verdicts to be set aside thus enabling new inquests to take place.
Although expected, this is still a nice Xmas present for the families and especially for Anne Williams whose son died at about 4pm on that day, and whom is now terminally ill with cancer. While all the families want things to happen, in Anne's case, because she doesn't know how long she has left to live, I hope that she and all the families get the inquest verdicts overturned before Xmas, and then hopefully new inquests will be held in the not too distant future.
