"I can't say that I have.
I've always thought of Donald as a dyed in the wool narcissist and Elon as someone gifted and different in his thought patterns.
Both are driven. "
I agree with you on DT, but reserve judgment on Elon Musk, given some of the statements he made for example on the older population. He may be gifted but that would not stop him from simultaneously being a bit misguided in some of his views? |

Nope, both are egotistical narcissists who seem to bounce between being mates and detesting each other…sometimes in the same day.
Both were handed a fortune, musky does seem to be better handling his, although his ideas do seem to be more along buying other peoples inventions and then booting them out than actually coming up with things himself.
Neither are anyone to be admired though |

Elon Musk worries me as much as The Donald. Both have the capacity to cause significant issues for humanity, in different ways. Twitter has such a global reach and if it becomes one egotistical man's plaything, well...... |

"between some of Elon Musk's and Donald Trump's facial expressions?
I am bit biased admittedly but I have noticed a few times now - usually a slightly smug look. " well you gotta be a little bit pleased with yourself especially in terms of his electric car company, I mean he hasn't exactly gone from rags to riches has our Elon and as for comb over donnie I think president of the United States of America was quite an achievement don't you? |

I have always likened Elon Musk to Mr Toad from the Wind in the Willows, there’s even a picture of him sticking his chin out and wearing a tuxedo which just screams Mr Toad at me.
What with his motor cars (poop poop), aeroplanes (rockets) and his “forthright” attitude I can but hope his mansion is eventually overwhelmed by weasels at some point.
For reference I am very much Mole. |

Oh absolutely, there is no denial of Elon's achievements.
I just see some (not all) similar traits and thought they were reflected in some of their facial expressions. Unfortunately I cannot post the images I am referring to.
And both worry me for different reasons.
Also, Trump knows how to spread a false narrative and continues to do it- Elon does not do that but would have the means with his wealth to do similar.
Not sure, as I said, I reserve judgment for now. |

"Elon has Asperger's.
So does Mr KC. But I do not worry about him like I do about Mr Musk. Having an ASD doesn't grant carte blanche to do whatever....... "
It does make for some hilariously aloof social moments though.
God bless em, usually minimally aware of the devastation they've wrought. |

"Elon has Asperger's.
I am aware of that, GC - but it does not stop me from worrying about he potential danger he poses."
I've not championed him at all.
It would to a degree explain some of his facial expressions and empathising in a different way to others.
He's made very astute moves and he is resilient to the end. It's pretty much a fallacy that he inherited from his bankrupted father.

Not sure, as I said, I reserve judgment for now." The wealthy men of this world and women of course have the power to influence many but they still have to run it by the general public so don't worry too much about it |

To be totally fair to me, and I always am, i'd never make a statement that relates ASD with total freedom of action.

Agreed
Although the degree he's leveraged, I suspect that if he fucks this up, he fucks himself up.
Hopefully he's got good advice. Advertisers are nervous. |

I'd never noticed til I saw this....but yep.
I have commented before that a lot of Bojos expressions were very similar to Trumps. The fake 'bumbling fool' look to hide the narcissistic traits and distract from the seriously dangerous ideas they encourage.
Good spot on Elon though.

That was an interesting show.
Kinda just blah'd out though IIRC? |

Could this be confirmation bias ? Lots of people compare Trump and Boris Johnson because of the hair but politically and cerebrally they are hugely different. |
