I've not been away in over a year and that was to Manchester for some fab nookie.
Been 10 years since I've had a "holiday" holiday.
I need to get out more!!!! |

Used to go to Nottingham a lot - watched the Lombard RAC rally there. I didn’t realise until yesterday Wollaton Hall was used in one of the Batman films. Have a fun weekend. |

I’d quite like to take my kids to France camping or something but we’d have to drive there and I’m not the best driver on UK roads never mind driving in France.
I’d also like to visit the Lake District but I hear it gets very busy with people. I don’t do people.

Landed from Madrid yesterday. What was meant to be a little city break for the kids turned into a nightmare. Ugh. Not going away as a passenger in a long time!

Not the most exciting but off to Portsmouth in December to run a marathon and stsyingba couple of nights.
And 2 trips to Brighton in the new year, the first for a Frank Turner gig the second fir the half marathon.
Pretty much all my weekends away invve gigs or running! |

We're going for a cruise over Xmas and NY from Tilbury departing 21 December for 15 nights. Not too expensive considering how much festive breaks costs!
Apparently they cater for solo travelers with events onboard and daytrips just for single folks...

I’ve discovered the joy of getting out of London, hiring a boat and cruising the Norfolk Broads, just me and my dog and no stress… had a break last month and am returning there in March |
