"Rather watch an episode of Scooby doo.
Probably more believable and at least in most cases the team debunk the spooky goings on and find out it's the hotel manager or......

"I have watched many episodes of Most Haunted and seen nothing to suggest that they've ever experienced anything paranormal "
But what about when they had cutlery thrown at them? |

It can all be rigged. That's the thing, not one thing can't be explained either through props, mechanisms, and trickery. Even more so when it comes to TV shows and post production/editing.
It is not really much different than magic/illusionists in the explanation of things. Smoke and mirrors and a man behind the curtain.
I'm not saying it's foolish to believe in these things, just that everything can be explained by a setup - that being common knowledge is a different question entirely. |

Talking about Most Haunted (and that spook Ghost watch)
Did Yvette Fielding ever try to contact her old Blue Peter colleague?
David Acorah, now is the time to prove to the whole world everything you did wasn't fake.
TV is good at faking stuff: they just call it reality this that and the other. Ghostly stuff is faked too. |

Quite why the experienced team seem to get so surprised, distressed etc, when the regular joe public would laugh and get bemused, in the same situation, is beyond me. Do they employ the most gullible and stupid, or just want to lose any credibility?
There's still about zilch good peer-reviewed evidence for paranormal, psychic, ghostly, etc experience. I think this speaks volumes. |
