Spotty bum cheeks

Jump to: Newest in thread

My bum cheeks have gotten spotty which is unusual, yeah a few blemishes but this is more. No change to my diet or laundry products - what can I do to clear them. Oh, they’re not itchy!

Any suggestions greatly received

Manchester (she/her)

Try salicylic acid on them. It's what's recommended for spots on your face. Lots of brands do inexpensive serums now, including Superdrug

Have you changed to underwear that restricts your skin from ‘breathing’? Some chemically made materials that rest for prolonged periods against the skin will cause spots with regular use. Stick to natural materials for regular use.

Chard

Do you remove hair from your lovely pert cheeks?

If so these maybe ingrown hairs which can be very fine, mine are on my bum.

Make sure to exfoliate regularly after shaving/cream/wax removal

Gloves and scratchy side of bath sponges are good for this x

Agree. Scratchy exfoliating gloves in the shower.

I get this. It's horrible. And sometimes it flares up pretty bad. It's hormonal for me as my face is the exact same. I use Dermatica for my face but it's too expensive for my booty. I need to visit the doctors tbh.

If it's hormonal I'd recommend a visit to your doctors and see if they'd prescribe you medication. If you know what's causing it I'd have a look on Google for effective ways to deal with it. Salicylic acid is good for most people but doesn't do a thing for me.
