In order to get this Xmas's turkey's into the food chain and not lost to bird flu, nearly all birds will be presented frozen this year...

What is your preferred xmas dinner centre piece

I love pheasant but usually end up with turkey.

I'm thinking of spending Christmas alone this year though so I'll get pheasant or something x

Goose, for preference, but this year I'm at my sister's who is vegan, so I'm cooking a vegan Wellington, which is delicious.

Try Felicity Cloake's vegetarian Wellington, with braised squash. It's stunning.

Roast turkey. Or beef. Can't decide.

I do an amazing mushroom, spinach and stilton wellington. Even if veggie family members aren't attending, I still like to do a small one.

I like nice grain fed free range chicken, Xmas day is the only day I make a Sunday dinner type meal so why spoil it with turkey

Yes and really picky, once we were trying to decide on a take away and he was wanting to phone places to make sure the rice had no colouring in it etc.

I was hungry so he was seriously pushing his luck and had about 5 minutes before I turned into a completely different person.

Yes, its still a veggie classic as long as not too dry. I do a layer of butter fried mushrooms in the middle to help out.

The nuts will be getting roasted in my gaff too. Family of vegans here. Not the sanctimonious sorts tho...you carnivores all do you. Enjoy that meat in your mouth.

I go to my sister she usually does t&h and beef. If I'm doing a Sunday roast I usually do a honey glazed ham for my meet.

It varies, year on year.

But this year I'm looking forward to Beef Wellington, stuffed with earthy mushrooms and herbs, served with a port-based gravy.
