with the moon n stars somewhere in gtr manc

I dropped my phone down the toilet this morning, (It was in my dressing gown pocket and some how jumped out)

I've had it in with some dried rice on the radiator since 9am and it still wont work

How long am I best to leave it for?

And any good spots to put it as I don't have an airing cupboard.

Thanks in advance

I have done this before, I left mine in the airing cupboard in rice (not much help I know) I left mine in overnight and it worked fine next day.

I got told to take battery and sim out, I couldn't because I have an iPhone but if you can do take it out

You should pull the battery out and leave it on a towel on top of a radiator for at least 3 days before trying to switch it on.

In Your Bush

If you have been trying to power it up before it has completely dried out. The chances are, you have fried it unfortunately.

What phone is it, iPhones can take a few weeks to dry out, but can be disembled with right tools to speed up drying process a bit.

Any other phone, uptake battery out, leave on towel in airing cupboard with rice, for a day or too.

Not guaranteed to turn back on though

It's/was a HTC Chacha

Will leave it somewhere warm over night and take it the shop tomorrow.
