A number of women have over the years. I just reply hi back .. not playing that “one-sided convo” game that a lot of ladies seem to think they can get away with

I have been known to reply " hi" to someone's message. It's because I am lazy ..

If someone messages me "hi" I always message back "ho!" And hope they come back with the next line. Happened once lol

I always do the “Ho” thing straight back.

Usually a profile with a shadow avatar, “will fill in later” and 2 or 3 crappy cock pictures.

Fuckwits of the highest order.

It's hardly worth opening their profile when they've made so little effort. I'd never send a 1st message Hi.

I assume they've written dozens of them

If I receive a 'Hi' message, it's an instant delete.

If they're too lazy to write a message, then it doesn't bode well.

First time Hi messages are 9/10 deleted and blocked. Even though we are a couple a bit of thought would be nice. If we message someone new it’s at least a full sentence. We rarely look at the profile of anyone who does it and def not if they don’t have a profile pic.

No point spending time writing long messages when most women and couples don't reply.

Not just "hi", there are people who manage to send messages that don't actually say anything, trying to make you take things further. (I don't rise to the bait...)

If they don't say anything they are probably not interested. It's not sex bait.

Nope I put effort in to everything I do but I can totally understand why people get them and can totally understand why people send them

The whole what effort you put in you get out is totally bs

As when people do put effort on it’s not respcated one bit

And watch as this post has proven a point say something controversial everyone jumps at you

Be nice respectfully and get blanked funny how that work

Funny when what you post and preach people don’t show it back

We either ignore the "hi" messages, or reply with, "jk".

As we assume we're playing what comes next.

I'm a bit of a talker. Love long conversations and I'm attracted to men who like to talk a lot so people who just message 'Hi' aren't going to be compatible with me.

P.S.

I wonder if theres a word for people who are attracted to people who talk loads. Like there are some people attracted to brainy people and they're a certain thing, or people only attracted to people they know and have an emotional connection, they get a label.

I wonder what attracted to chatty people is... I'm talksexual perhaps? Lol

I'm never sure what to write in these messages, small talk is inherently difficult for me. Once we have a topic, then I can chat however we may get as far a 3rd message before I get ghosted

I always find gaging people’s opinions on the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre a good topic of conversation…

Profiles often state how much they hate a 'hi' message....

I don't get the anger, saying hello is a classic opener.

Back to main topic I truly believe the messages don't really matter too much and that people will reply no matter if they find the person who's messaged a shexy beast
