but you see them as a compliment...

So for me, while the word "woke" seems like it is meant to be a negative - or at least that is how I see it being used, as a criticism of having liberal opinions, I like it when I am called woke. It reaffirms that I am associated with values I hold dear.

What words do you think are complimentary to you even if other people might see them as negative?

Doesn't "woke" imply you've been in a dream like state where you've been oblivious to certain situations then suddenly you are aware of them. Like having an awakening?

I believe that is part of it and the word has been used by politicians like Bravermann when she said something about the "Guardian reading, tofu eating... people of wokerism" (words to that effect, I dont recall the exact sequence) .. so definitely a negative connotation, which in turn makes me almost proud to be called it.

"Promiscuous Slut "
Oops I told somebody off for using "slut" ... but I can see it is an upside down compliment in the scene.

It is the easiest descriptive word for a casual sex lifestyle

People sometimes say I ask too many questions.

They will miss me when I'm gone.

Woke is used as a slur because it is heavily biased and refuses to look at it's self in the mirror and thinks it is above all else.

The Woman king, is a prime example.

Africans have a history of sláve trading. There is no collective sense of a united Africa, just different nations and tribes.

Look at the horrific massacre in Rwanda's civil war in the early 1990s. Black on black.

Some black lives mattered here, some didn't and they can't blame us white people for their own hatred of the others.

Hotel Rwanda is one film that I have seen. That radio DJ was pure evil

Have the BLMers seen it? or has this been airbrushed from their diktat?

Welcome to Sarajevo, was another film about Europeans killing their neighbours.

Both of these civil war films feature ethnic cleansing.

in a nutshell, woke is broke.
