a Look, a Message, a Block?

Hey guys, out of curiosity (and yes it has happened), is there a reason why you could be looked at a few times (using the 'whos looked at me' feature to see this), after 3 times or more, you decide to send a message saying something along the lines of 'Hey, saw you looked at me a few times, would you be interested in chatting?'.. and then being immediately blocked. ?
Not upset or annoyed at it, just curious as to why it might have happened, or the logic behind it, as it's confused me.
