Just wondered,do these ever work when you put you're looking to meet today?
I'd never meet someone on a whim personally, but just wondered if it works! |

In my very early days on here I met a couple that put a meet up one late evening, found myself in Abingdon about 11pm about an hour or so after first contacting them.
But I guess it’s easier for couples / females seeking men than men seeking couples / females .. |

It’s never worked for me. I’ve posted one or two in the past when I’m bored and would meet up with someone new for a laugh.
And as a shameless promotion for a group social (please check out the meets forum  ) that doesn’t seem to work for a single guy too.
I do suspect single women or couples will be inundated though. |

I've often wondered when men post meets like that in the forums they are asked if they really expect women to meet some randomer with no concern for their safety but yet women often post statuses looking for similar meets in whatever hotel they may be staying in. What's the difference in regard to safety?
Meeting a random stranger like that carries risk regardless of who initiates it. |

I suspect as a single man it would never work, but having never tried it i wouldnt know, as a guess i would think couples and women get lots of response to meet posts |

We’ve used this once and it worked perfectly - better than expected actually.
We met a guy when we were in Cambridge and he turned out to be Italian, which was a fantasy of C’s to have an all Italian talking meet as C’s fluent. It was hot…

I've not used it often, usually just when a meet has fallen through and I had planned to do something that night.
I received plenty of messages saying they couldn't do that night, but could do another, so it worked out well in that regard  |

It's not something we've intentionally used but we did fat finger a meet now a few weeks ago without realising and the number of messages we came back to a few hours later suggests it would have worked.
Was a bit of a shame we weren't available. |

We put that we’d be at a club once and a couple of guys turned up especially and expected to play….they’d paid to get in and everything!
