It's all about supply and demand. The number of fake profiles has increased exponentially with the number of people who keep chatting to them... over and over again.

Just to add my pennies worth, I see a fake as something that’s pretending to be the real thing.

So a fake profile here, for me, is a single female profile could actually be a guy behind it.

And yes, probably loads, because some nutters do that type of thing. You can spot them a mile away.
