Sooooo.
Ive been put on an overtime ban at work for "working too much" (head offices words)
We have barely any staff and the few we have wont do any overtime. I did it as its extra money and im moving hone so every penny helps.
They then had the nerve to ask me to come in to help as we had a visit from regional managers. How does fuck right off sound.!!
Sorry for the rant but its pissed me right off to the point im looking for a new job.

Businesses do have a duty of care to staff and encouraging people to work too much isn't good practice.
However, nor is maintaining low staffing levels, or making staff feel like they have no option but to work extra.
