Hahaha, yeah it was actually thought fresh water on your vagina could kill you in 16th century London, I had to read a diary entry about watching the washer women trying to avoid getting the water above their knees |

That is such a good question I had to think properly rather than throw off a half arsed joke !
I guess for men it would be violence and fighting? When war was a given for many generations I suppose male violence was much more normalised, though even growing up in the 80s I can recall much more street violence, at football for example.
And of course smoking. It's amazing how quickly it's become a minority activity, rather frowned on than admired. |
