Does to me, but only in terms of me having a car that won’t break down. Cars and material things don’t impress me to be honest. Most people who live in London don’t have cars (I didn’t for most of my early life living in London because public transport is good enough) |

Plus the only real reason to live in London is to bar crawl happy hour for cocktails...why would you want a car to ruin that. Lol! |

true, I grew up in London and rarely needed a car - definitely made nights out easier without the drama of who’s going to drive! |

The motoring hardwear certainly does matter, and I've discovered in recent years to forget your Ferraris and Aston Martin, I've struck up more conversations with women, and got three phone numbers to date through getting my disabled mum in and out of the wheelchair adapted vehicles I bought to get her around than ever I got with either of my Jag convertibles. You also can't beat a WAV for dogging. |

"Nope. I’m not bothered - if I’m travelling in it - as long as it works and isn’t knee deep in dubious bottles of pale yellow liquid and McD’s wrappers "
Do people actually do that in bottles in their car? |

As a bit of a petrol head, I'd say I'm more interested in people's knowledge of and interest in cars than what they actually drive...I certainly can't afford any of the cars that I'd really like, so I have the closest thing within my budget, and fully expect others to be similar. |

"I’ve had a lovely chat with a lady about ford fiestas tonight.
I think it was my pepper pot alloys and the kenwood sticker in my back window that reeled her in."
No K&N air filter? That's always a knicker dropper.... |
