London

Got a jumper on, a weighted blanket and a high tog.

Days like this I wish I had a broad shouldered man to be my big spoon.

Night night fabsters x

Before agreeing to do that I’d need to check how cold your feet were

Check that you are not ill and the heating is on and working.

I grew up in the tropics my formula for warming my body up and fast:

1. sleep bonnet and manicure gloves.

2.grab a scarf.

3. wool socks and my fleece indoor boots.

4. Pjs, onesie and robe.

5. fitted sheet, top sheet, high tog duvet and weighted blanket.

6. hot drink and hot waterbottle/ electric foot cosy, electric heater for 5 minutes and then switch off electric throw/electric mattress topper.

That's what I've done in the past. At the moment I'm having perimenopausal night sweats and hot flashes so what I do it sleep nude on the top half and keep the bottom half and my feet covered.

When I get super cold I have to get in the bathtub with a hot drink.

Unfortunately, men have no effect on warming me up...apart from shagging. cuddles still leave me freezing.

"Tog? "

Yes. It sits on my uterus during period contractions.

Thanks for the super advice everyone. Never once occurred to me to drink tea just before bed to warm up! And I will dig up my ancient water bottle buried somewhere beyond the laundry pile.

Xx

Get a fleece duvet set … it is a cross between being cuddled by a giant teddy bear and sinking into a warm furry cloud.

However be warned the first night I woke up from a nightmare where I was being violated by Bungle!

Here and There

I’m normally a person who sleeps in just their knickers, but I’m refusing to heat my house at the moment so I’m sleeping in a big sweatshirt and have got a duvet and a quilt on the bed. I’ve got a woollen blanket too for when it gets colder still.

More than willing to be your furry hot water bottle, Ma’am.
