When Tom orders a takeaway he always gives the deliveryman all of his spare change. How do you help the poor?

Did you just call out that all delivery men are poor?

The only way to help the poor is to rob from the rich.

Is that trickle down economics?

Define poor? Certainly not the delivery driver wearing designer clothes, £10k worth of jewellery and carrying an iPhone 14.

I was just thinking that. Takeaways are quite expensive and more often than not not particularly healthy.

I help poor chaps who refer to themselves in the third person by pointing it out.

Don’t we?

I dont like giving to big charity organizations. I prefer to give directly to people.

I don't go into town often, but when I do I will pop into a store and make up a couple of parcels for any rough sleepers I see. Bread, spreads, snacks, treats, pot noodles, soups & tea, etc. Or failing that a Greg's gift card, so that they can get a couple of hot meals and drinks.

Also always put something into the food bank collection baskets at my local supermarket.

Direct action is Tom's approach..

He helps them who help themselves..

If every delivery driver delivering take away food to the better off then they benefit..

It's Tom's trickle down economy..

About 2/3 times a month we have a pizza/etc delivered. We've already paid online and dont pay a tip etc as the people delivering could easily work longer hours and or get a better job especially in London

The only tip I would give to anyone expecting a tip is a free tip EG, get a better job

Btw, pizza hut charge a delivery rate of about 3 pounds where we live so I'm guessing they are getting that on top of their other rates..

Pizza companies should be forced to print the percentage that the deliveryman gets .

They are entitled to a slice of the profit

The delivery allowance to drivers rarely covers the fuel used and they are usually on min wage
