I go to The Attic, too and they look after people really well. I imagine most clubs are pretty similar in all honesty.
When you get to the door, staff will ask if you've been there before and then they'll give you a guided tour, explaining how the place works, what the rules are and they'll generally introduce you to known and reliable members, so you've got an introduction to a few people to chat to.
Any problems, there are plenty of staff there who will help out.
