I am watching something on Netflix called 28 days haunted and there are people staying at supposed haunted locations and they are using methods to supposedly detect spirits and the like. It’s quite interesting but some of it seems like smoke and mirrors.
So do you believe in ghosts and demonology?
Do you think spirits exist and visit “psychics”
What are your thoughts/ experiences?
Have you been haunted? |

I do believe in ghosts, definitely, there was a very spooky happening the night my husband died.
I do not believe in the ghostly happening in TV programs though. That's all set up for sure. |

Definitely, in my old flat I saw my white earphones move by themselves amongst other spooky things going on at the time which I shall not mention. I’m a very spiritual person and believe in God, good and evil and the after life. |

No. Never have.
A little story, i spent 15 years doing night shifts in a hospital operating theatre that was built on a victorian workhouse.
Hundreds if not thousands of violent deaths must have occurred during its history. Never saw so much as a shadow out of place let alone the wrestless dead.

I'm a huge believer, having had many personal experiences over the years.
Having said that, a lot of so-called "factual" TV shows are made for entertainment purposes only, and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
I watch so many of these, and really enjoy them...but I weigh each story up accordingly to a number of different factors. |
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
No. There are good explanations to why people act certain ways when deemed 'possessed'
|
Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
Yes, more or less.
My dad grew up in a place that he described as haunted, both my uncle and grandmother agree with him the place was not right and spooky, unexplainable things would happen. Not just to my family, but occupants that have lived there since them have encountered similar things too.
One particular case involved a woman falling down the stairs and breaking her back, she said outright she felt she was pushed (so the story goes anyway)
It was a very old building, they found priest/monk holes hidden there.
I've been there once in my life when I was about 11. |

Go to Rannoch Moor near Inverness or the poppy fields in France and tell me you feel nothing. The energies we are capable of sensing as human beings represent less than 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum. Slimer isn't real but you should maintain an open mind. |

You see what you think you see. If you believe it hard enough. Makes me laugh when people see a horror movie and then go home or they're at home and then all of a sudden your house is haunted. It wasn't before the movie.
If ghosts were real then they would be everywhere. Not just haunted houses. I've slept in some scary places and never seen or heard a ghost. Camped in the middle of forests in Germany by the NSA spy station. Camped in the forest right next to Auschwitz, if I didn't see a ghost there then there's no such thing. Slept in abandoned houses in the middle of nowhere. I've heard noises but probably animals.
Ghosts do not exist! Just think about life and the world logically. Forget religion as that's the main reason why people believe in such nonsense and just think about it lol. It's like actually believing the earth is flat it's just madness!
No God, no ghosts, the earth isn't flat and the queen wasn't a lizard. |

Belief in the existence of ghosts is symptomatic of a sub-type of mental illness called schizotypism: it is on the schizophrenia continuum.
Believers will have odd cognitive perceptions; this can normally be cured with specific medication. |

I do had a view weird things happen. Was in a rented house and previous owner had died in the house. My dog use to get up and with his head follow something down the stairs and then he would go back to sleep. I use to go cycling in a country park and on one road I always felt that there was a ghostly horse drawn carriage coming down the road at speed. Lots more encounters |

Reply privately (closed, thread got too big)
I don’t know whether ghosts or spirits do exist, as I believe many can be explained away as fakery or science. However, I live in a 200 year old cottage for the last 20 years and every now again, I’ve experienced strange occurrences.
The most recent was a couple of weeks ago, whilst I was watching tv in the front room. On the floor in front of the tv, I saw my cat’s plastic 3-way tunnel move, making a sound in the process. It was like someone had stepped or knocked into it, when walking pass. It couldn’t have been a draft, as it moved away from the corner towards the door and window. The cat had been resting on the settee. He also saw and heard it, causing him to watch it for several minutes. We were the only living things in the room.
Perhaps it was some electrical charge from the tv or sky box that cause it to move. For the fact the cat heard and saw it too, shows that I wasn’t hallucinating.

Are 'ghosts' some kind of energy left behind like in a battery type of thing. I have NO idea but there is a possibility.
No Psychics and Mediums are sadly a scam. I've even 'outed' one live at a village fete which caused a massive rumpus LOL
One observation I will make...
As technology improves and we all carry a mini TV station with us with pretty good cameras and mics on board I find it VERY curious that despite more people having a camera on hand 'sightings' of ghosts have dwindled. Same as Alien Abductions. They have dwindled too.
Funny that eh? |

You are correct in believing physic Sally is a fake medium. I actually went to one of her shows, it was laughable. She saw about 4 different spirit children running in the aisle. Also she had a message that I believe was aimed at me, giving details of my pond of Kio fish and my grandad Wally. He had been dead for 40ish years though, so it was bullshit he would try to connect with me. I did not get up for the message, it was also being filmed for her videos. Someone else stood up and said the message was for them. Sally was quite snotty when I got her to sign my ticket.
I since learned that they look up the people who have bought tickets on Facebook and get the info from there. |

Maybe not .
Helen Sharman.. Britain's first astronaut..speaking about parallel universes.. stated " we could have unknown entities standing right beside us but never know it" .
Multiverse/parallel universes could explain things like time-slip sights..ghosts..etc .people could swear they've seen them and genuinely could have if a door was momentarily open in a parellel universe...
The incidents I find intriguing are when small children age 4 or 5 can state the history of a building they have just walked passed for the first time.. .,for example "this bank used to be a hospital for soldiers Mummy "
sure it is all anecdotal from the parents but with thousands of children throughout the decades able to report things... it's intriguing

I like this topic .
I have seen things that I don’t know if is real or was effect of things I was taking .
Black shadows human shapes going around and around a tree . Children size . But I was on effects could be me making it up . I saw it tho .
I don’t know . Maybe to much fairy tales or culture and u brain produces projections . And u believe yourself .
Another one I saw a black shadow jumping into a car to grab a lift .
Is an old local rumour of the ghosts who jump in cars to grab a lift back home from the beach
Was sun set , after a long party night then night before .
I probably made tray one up . As u have the story stuck in your head . I do t know . I saw it .
Others
I saw and I wasn’t alone . My daughter mother saw it too . . I try justify with reasonable physics and chemical reaction for such happening n I can’t get it right . Heat , gas trapped , a air draft wouldn’t do that and wasn’t one . I don’t know .
The kids ball red rubber ball in lounge spinning around and around on itself with out losing the g force .
Like if u touch a ball a bit melon the move fade . This one
Wasn’t fading like a spiral . Was on circle constinuosly with same energy n speed . On n on n on . I stopped it myself saying :
Right is getting a bit much now .
Other event . I heard fase 1 . Then I heard and saw fase 2 as I opened the kitchen sliding door
The same thing happen twice .
Exactly same noise .
Dinning room was full of stuff n kids toys as we just moved in
And the same ball again .
Falling down in perfect vertical line losing energy every time touched the floor . Like a normal move .
But was a perfect line like was hanging from ceiling and someone dropped it
Not a curved line like rolling form top of unit or so .
And done it twice . I just thought if is what I think it is bless him . And I didn’t freak out . Just not much I can do .
We moved out , and in new houses we went there was more little strange things happening again
I stop taking notice and carry on .
I just thought: you know what ? I not even care if is who I think it is or anyone else or isn’t at all
Is what it is . Fuck it . So I got used to it … eventuallyevents stop happening or I totally stop taking noticed .
Coicidence about this events . Kids dad suicide Months ago before that .
Made think could be him .
Since then I try to imagine how could it be ?
According to our realm existence anything alive needs power , energy to remain alive .
Water , food , fuel of any type , digesting bacteria or sun light anything ….
If a ghost would exist , a frequency with out body vessel to contain it .
How would this freekuency feed and support itself to stand ?
How would he feed ?
If the body is dead , if the engine doesn’t produce any more energy , how does the spirit who was in a brain before can support and practice astral projection after body death ?
How ? Nothing can project with out consuming .
What could he be consuming ? Human energies of the broken heart of the ones who loved him ?
I can’t figure out .
Does the brain store micro electro impulses after death allowing projections ?
I don’t astral projection a couple of times
And it is like U are a ghost .
But even there’s a magnetic field that justifies the projection
How
Could that freekuency have phisical contact with objects and lift them and move them ?
Like a Jedi who levitates other things ?
Seems a lot of energy to be used . And I don’t see it happening out of a little pulse floating around in the air .
So I don’t know .
I have seen things . Tho I can’t find a way to make it real .
Or a logic to make it possible to believe
Even I saw n heard .
Happy halloween
Is true tho . Is all true x x |

Other dimensions exist.
I jumped from one to the other . And I brought figures into our realm . From dream realm to our awakes
Realm.
Yes is all a dream even part is well awake and open eyes eating n drinking .
But I done it . There’s loads of dimensions yes .
You cross a wall like a ghost in a dream
On the other side of the wall is another dimension
Or floor . Or ceiling .
I’m one room is a bowling saloon u cross the wall and u in a medieval castle dudgeon .
Medieval n bowling doesn’t go together
Unless is all just production of imagination
I have been there tho . And if is just imagination
Wow . My Brian could build an universe .

"There is defintely energy that some people can pick up on more than others. I love to believe in it all even though some things are easily explained. I wouldnt choose to stay in haunted houses etc though, I am easily spooked "
I wouldn’t believe it would be the house being hunted. House doesn’t produce energy .
Would be the person who is hunted . As her brain produces energies and memories .
Maybe the ghost could use that power to travel
Could he feed form that ? Like a parasite using other brains electricity ?

"Belief in the existence of ghosts is symptomatic of a sub-type of mental illness called schizotypism: it is on the schizophrenia continuum.
Believers will have odd cognitive perceptions; this can normally be cured with specific medication."
Yes . How do u justify 2 people see same thing ?
Are both paranoid at same time with the same paranoia ?
Maybe was us 2 who was making things in house move with our minds power
Both paranoid of being hunted by a suicide kids dad
yes . Your brain produces and creates
Thats how we have artists , cinemas , web site developers . Engineers who build dildos
Kettle and toasters and radio and tv
Can u explain how a tv signal works ?
Is bonkers . How can images travel in space ? Is madness isn’t it ?
U don’t need to be mentally Ill to create and illusion .
Sleep deprivation or fatigue is enough to make
You trip and hallucinate
Have u ever been so tired that your brain glitches several times like a tv losing signal and the channel gets white n black ants as u walking in streets ?
Ha ha . Scary . I found it hilarious . Scary tho . |

Two people experiencing the same or similar ghost phenomena at the same time or the same place is a type of mental illness called folie a deux.
I have spoken to many people over the years who have believed in ghosts, ESP, etc., and without exception they are people who have received or been receiving psychiatric intervention, usually in the form of medication.
Some, who have recovered sufficiently, no longer take medication, but their unusual beliefs continued, and from my experience they try to convince others of their usual beliefs, observations, experiences and perceptions.
They are not sufficiently unwell to be incarcerated, but are definitely people to be avoided.
These types of beliefs are biochemically based; these odd beliefs can be found in extended families because their individual and collective perceptions are faulty and not based on reality.
Frankly, believers with odd beliefs are to be avoided, but they find solace in conversing, and sharing their experiences.
It is part of the human condition. |

"I do believe in ghosts, definitely, there was a very spooky happening the night my husband died.
I do not believe in the ghostly happening in TV programs though. That's all set up for sure. "
Sorry to hear you lost your husband.
Sounds simular to when i lost my dad. The night before we find out I just felt very cold and strange like a feeling of dread came over me.
What happend to you? If you don't mind me asking. Thanks Dx |

When Mr N's father died we felt him in the room some hours later. When my mum died I was with her and felt nothing until I got back to my parents house. I went into her room with my daughter and physically felt her leave. I also felt my grandfather shortly after he died. I'm not sure about ghosts but I very firmly believe that people can exist in some form for a short while after they die. |

That's an interesting way of looking at it.
I felt my grandfather when I was doing something I shouldn't have been and he was there to tell me off.
My father in law was saying goodbye.
I'd already said goodbye to my mum at the hospital and she was just in a hurry to get away when I felt her leave her room at home. Which was very much in character |

Sounds like you in tune with something others are less fortunate to see and feel.
I'd take it that you found the experience comforting. The way you speak about it doesn't sound scary or weird just natural. |

Yes.
Stayed a night in a friends house. Been to his several times but 1st time I stopped overnight.
His house has always felt cold even with the heating on, small semi detached house.
Half way during the night I felt the bed duvet get pulled away from me very quickly that it woke me up, there was no one else in the room.
Didnt tell my friend but few months later he mentioned the previous owner had died in the house but no idea how.
Shit me up that did. |

Comforting isn't the word I'd use, I just accepted it really, I do don't tend to question it too much. My mum has only fairly recently died so it's fresh in my mind. I
I have had other experiences but I tend not to discuss them on here because people ridicule them. I don't claim they're paranormal just that as yet I don't have an explanation. |

Another armchair expert who is clearly stating that anyone who believes in any form of paranormal phenomena is under the influence of "medication".
Hands up, ladies and gents...which of you fit into that narrow-minded armchair scholar view...because I for one don't.
Typically, people who don't believe in anything that they haven't seen themselves are narcissistic individuals who like to stereotype others.
Oops, was that a generalisation too? |

Absolutely...just take exception with people reinforcing stigmas in relation to mental illness and medication in order to "demonstrate" a rather tenuous link to paranormal experiences (or at the very least, unexplained ones).
These kind of people would have us still believing that the world is flat...or burning people at the stake for "witchcraft". Science advances |

I have politely tried to explain my attitude to believers in these types of phenomena without being patronising or dismissive.
Many people believe in and claim to experience these events and perceptions; the experts' views as outlined in the DSM-5, and ICD-11, the medical manuals that are used all over the planet, have a rational explanation.
But cultural influences are pervasive worldwide too, and these western views as stated in the manuals are not always accepted as providing a full explanation.
The world and its human population make the planet an interesting place. |

Yes, there are hoaxes, liars, fakes et al, and this merely serves to reinforce the ridicule that is often directed at believers / witnesses.

I'm not sure where I stand, I just don't know. There comes a point where you question your own experience because logic tells you that it could not have happened. |

This is why we doubt ourselves. Certain elements of society ridicule us, and our sense of logic adds fuel to the fire.
All I can suggest is to focus on remembering the events, forget your logic whilst you're doing it. Apply the "Sherlock Holmes" logic instead.
Of course, there's a chance that your mind could've been playing tricks on one occasion or more. Tiredness, exhaustion, grief and various other factors can cause this...but I believe that you have an undeniable pattern of "unexplained" experiences there... |

"Yes.
That's a creepy one.
Still gives me the creeps. Feel the hairs on my neck just thinking of it and this was about 30yrs ago.

I've had various similar experiences to this in the past, and my late cat also experienced some of it with me |

"When Mr N's father died we felt him in the room some hours later. When my mum died I was with her and felt nothing until I got back to my parents house. I went into her room with my daughter and physically felt her leave. I also felt my grandfather shortly after he died. I'm not sure about ghosts but I very firmly believe that people can exist in some form for a short while after they die.
Thanks for sharing this. I can imagine that being comforting.
Which was very much in character
Sounds like you in tune with something others are less fortunate to see and feel.
I'd take it that you found the experience comforting. The way you speak about it doesn't sound scary or weird just natural.
My condolences...and just ignore the naysayers, who believe that their narrow-minded viewpoint is not only valid, but that it's absolute Xx
Thank you.
I think everyone is entitled to their opinion . It doesn't upset me if they express it
Absolutely...just take exception with people reinforcing stigmas in relation to mental illness and medication in order to "demonstrate" a rather tenuous link to paranormal experiences (or at the very least, unexplained ones).
These kind of people would have us still believing that the world is flat...or burning people at the stake for "witchcraft". Science advances
What's your view on the whole subject? Sorry if you've already given it.
I'm a big believer, to be honest...after numerous experiences (sans any form of medical or chemical assistance whatsoever).
Yes, there are hoaxes, liars, fakes et al, and this merely serves to reinforce the ridicule that is often directed at believers / witnesses.
From reading your posts, you've been through a lot (emotionally and psychologically) and this can make us especially sensitive to certain energies and presences Xx
Tiredness, exhaustion, grief and various other factors can cause this...but I believe that you have an undeniable pattern of "unexplained" experiences there..."
I tend towards just accepting my experiences.
A couple of things that have happened would have me carted away to the funny farm undeniably . |

"I have politely tried to explain my attitude to believers in these types of phenomena without being patronising or dismissive.
They do indeed make it interesting.
For the record I wasn't on any medication or receiving psychiatric intervention when I experienced what I did."
I assumed that neither of the two states applied and that what you experienced was grieving, loss of a deeply cherished person from your life, etc.
But other ghostly phenomena that people allegedly experience, such as on those bizarre haunted TV shows, are, in my opinion irrational and without foundation. |

The existence of supernatural beings is a total fantasy from an omniscient super being (god) to elves, fairies, sprites, ghosts and anything in between.
When doing my HNC I had to do a general studies project designed to hone research skills. Mine was ghosts and apparitions. On any recorded occasion where there was a sighting, when a group was involved, no two stories matched.
Total nonsense. |

Open-mindedness, as a personal trait, is to be welcomed; but that only applies up to the point where one has gathered sufficient information to reach a conclusion about the verifiable facts of a situation.
Open-ended open-mindedness simply means that one is receptive to nonsense, even after it has ceased to make sense!
There is a cut-off point, unless an astonishing new fact emerges. |

"I am watching something on Netflix called 28 days haunted and there are people staying at supposed haunted locations and they are using methods to supposedly detect spirits and the like. It’s quite interesting but some of it seems like smoke and mirrors.
So do you believe in ghosts and demonology?
Do you think spirits exist and visit “psychics”
What are your thoughts/ experiences?
Have you been haunted?"
The people who made this program were related to Edd and Lorraine Warren who were demonologists themselves, no doubt you know of some hauntings they were famous for like the Annabelle Doll and the Amity House.
Both Edd and Lorraine were devote Catholics and if you want to find their stories and experiences you need to go to the Christian section of book's and not horror, but in answer to your question I have been in the presents of human spirits and I've had a conversation nothing like 28days as they were not malevolent |

Has anyone ever wondered why all ghost sightings are of Victorian era ghosts? You never hear of ghosts dressed in punk gear, mods, rockers, a ghost riding a segway.
I believe we can leave an imprint on reality. Humans run on a form of electrical energy, energy never goes away, it cannot "die", so what happens to that energy when the body dies?
Some refer to that energy as our soul, it's a simplified explanation but it is something of us that survives. There's no consciousness, just energy. |

On any recorded situation of any event (not just ghost or apparitions) no two stories will match, and if they matched perfectly I equally, would be very suspicious. For example look at any court event and witness testimonies they will all differ in details. |

The belief in Ghosts and Spirits in general seems to be much stronger in women and effeminate men.
I don’t know anything really about different brain function but there has to be something in that..hadn’t there
Every woman I know believes in a spirit or after life and actively associate, “ happenings,” to the spirit world…often associated with dead relatives and family.
These happenings to me seem perfectly rationally explained
I often ask , why there are no confirmed, photographic recordings or audio recordings of these ghosts
I have had people who think they are Spiritual or have been to Spiritualists who have or been told they have these exotic spirit guides
One was an American Indian….
Surely more believable if a coal miner from Hatfield?
I have listened to tapes of mediums that family have been to see
Such random codswallop with such obvious guesses etc.. but they all ignore the mistakes and believe the vague connections to themselves.. it was embarrassingly funny
I avidly watch documentaries about physics and the cosmos
How can anyone believe in a deity that created this world…then realise how insignificant in the physical cosmos we are
I think people have emotionally linked need to believe in such matters whilst there is no scientific evidence to support it
Take into account that physicists and astrologers can look millions of light years into space and explain gravity, time, solar winds etc etc but we cant take a picture, record audibly or see effects of ghosts
Come on if you were a ghost wouldn’t it be disappointing if all you could do was leave a white feather, lightly touch the hairs on the back of someone’s neck or on a good day… a windy day make a curtain move slightly.

Not really, when you consider that it's common for witnesses of any description to have irregularities or inconsistencies in their stories.
This applies to victims of crime or pretty much anything else.
The reasons for this are many and varied, but it doesn't mean that the crime didn't happen... |

"Two people experiencing the same or similar ghost phenomena at the same time or the same place is a type of mental illness called folie a deux.
It is part of the human condition."
So a kids play ball spinning on itself in a living room
Not far from door and not far from window
Is mental illness . I stopped it phisically myself
I tried to justify the event with gas trapped inside the vessel . Temperatures or some kind of physics .
I believe more in the ghost then in metal illness
And trust me . I know what having the head fucked means .

Dismissing something just because we don't currently have an understanding or explanation for it is a bit daft.
Imagine trying to explain photography to a caveman or radio frequencies to an Elizabethan. They'd probably disbelieving too. |

You’ve brought an interesting explanation to those whom experience what they think are paranormal events. However, folie a deux is not in the current volume of the DSM-5, which considers the criteria insufficient or inadequate for a shared psychotic disorder. Both DSM-5 and ICD-11 do consider Folie á Deux a rare delusional disorder as part of a psychiatric disorder, mainly occurring within individuals who’s experienced social isolation, abuse and neglect, or have previously been on psychiatric medication. Certainly wouldn’t account for most of the witnesses to paranormal events, including myself.
I cant find any studies or diagnoses where hauntings were attributed to Folie á Deux. I think attributing any and every paranormal experience to a psychiatric disorder is dangerous. If you can cite a study or diagnosis, where a haunting was attributed to Folie á Deux, then I’ll be interested in reading it.

"There’s definitely more going on that meets the eye. Paranormal activities, inter dimensional stuff
Ah here lad ,you've been watching too much Marvel
"
I find that fascinating too. There is a Netflix series called 'Surviving Death that explores what happens before, during and after death and one of the episodes is dedicated to reincarnation with accounts from families of children who can remember their lives, it really is fascinating...

Not sure I believe in Ghosts but I do think there is something happening in a higher place beyond our understanding
I always used to go see my Mum on a Monday.
I went to see her and she said 'I won't be here next week' I asked her what on earth did she mean!
She told me that my Dad and StepDad had visited her the previous night and told her that 'everything was ready for the party' and that 'everyone was coming and that the party was Monday'
She was shaken but I reassured her
The next Friday she called me to say that she was in hospital, I saw her Friday and by Saturday she was on a ventilator
Sunday she was unconscious. I felt her go, I literally felt a pull in my body like a light bulb had popped
Monday they removed the ventilator to 'to see how she responded'
Official time of death 11.03 but I knew her soul had left on the Sunday
I remember sitting with her on the Monday and thought back to the party and told her to give both my Dad's a hug from me and to enjoy her day

Nope. I think the mind is powerful and responsible for weird shit that happens to people sometimes.
I wish I could believe in that kind of thing. |

"Has anyone ever wondered why all ghost sightings are of Victorian era ghosts? You never hear of ghosts dressed in punk gear, mods, rockers, a ghost riding a segway. "
Probably the same reason that when people regress to a past-life they are usually someone like Julius Caesar. Very few people report discovering that they were a milkman from the 70s. |

If he was a ghost he wouldn't give ya a fright |

I'm inclined to agree with this. I think a lot of paranormal experience is coming from within us rather than from elsewhere |

"I’m a total nonbeliever. However, I’m not closed-minded – I’ll revise my opinions as soon as presented with actual contradictory evidence. Since everybody and their dog has multiple video and audio recording devices just lying around at all times, I’m sure a deluge of just such evidence will be along any moment now. " Perhaps not a deluge but always enough to reinforce (from experience) the fact for believers like me that whenever I read these types of posts my opinion won't change ever Its good everyone has their own views and that Is how It will remain .. |

I was raised in a haunted house and you get used to it.
Once watched a clock fly across the room and smash itself on oposit wall and was once seved by a ghost.
Its just one of those things you carnt explain and learn to take in youre stride |

How would you suggest I record me sensing my mum leaving her room after she died? Not that I'd want such a deeply personal experience recorded for other people's benefit"
Exactly, some things just can't be explained
I guess we'll all find out eventually |

"I have politely tried to explain my attitude to believers in these types of phenomena without being patronising or dismissive.

The world murdered Galileo cause he defended the planet was round and not flat .
I think the world is not flat or round .
Is squared as hell . Everyone falls for majorities .
I not falling for leaders . And put me off studying
In 10th year at school they crossed the chapter 7th of filosophy “ we not doing this one “
10 years later my mate told me that chapter was about anarchistic revolution of the individual etc etc I don’t remember .
Wich was intresting cause is what I like . No models here thanks .
So yeah . I’m not going to India cause they say biting monkeys is good for you
I think it isn’t . Kind of thing .
Who tells me defending certain theories is not just propaganda so the Vaticane and secret societies don’t let the Republic machine to fall ?
I don’t believe anyone . End off .
Respect .
I know what I saw and what I stoped happening
And I wasn’t deluded or having reality destortions . Wich is a subject I really enjoyed to explore .

Ghosts wearing sheets ? No way . Was watching you all night , he knows exactly what is on that sheets for the all week .
A ghost wouldn’t wear that . Errmmmm cringe
I have seen things moving . No explanation .
And that is the true . The frequency of this events around the world for decades or centuries or thousands n million of years
They happen in so small frequency and never hurt us or drive us to suicide or drive us insane .
To find or not find what it is is irrelevant .
For me is just a squirrel running in a park .
I had so much of it , haunting us and we moved houses more then once a year .
Just got used to it . Noisy annoying neighbours are much worse .
I would rather 1000 ghost then 2 annoying bastards . I mean it .
Respect . |

And that's a very healthy balance...there's definitely a lot of rubbish out there, but also many genuine experiences |

Yes I really do believe there are spirits and ghosts about. It’s just sad most programs portray them as bad or evil.
I have seen and heard.
But everyone is different in there beliefs. |

I have seen things. I have felt things. I have heard things. I have one especially weird experience where it felt like I was communicating with something. All while completely stone cold sober, day and night and many shared with other people there at the time verifying that these things happened.
I don't know what any of these experiences were as there are multiple explanations I'm each case. I have never been slimed. Not by a free roaming vapour. |

Yes, I believe in spirit and energies. I also take comfort from "signs" that I get. I don't care if no one else gets it, it means something to me. |

When I went today to the place where I follow my avocation, I specifically checked for the traits and personality type of people who are most likely to believe in ghosts: it is called schizotypy!
And an amusing article I briefly perused asked the following question:
Why do ghosts always appear wearing clothes? |

a personality type in which mild symptoms of schizophrenia are present.
really? |

No. There doesn't seem to be any good evidence, despite billions of people around. I'm inclined to think they don't exist |

"The world murdered Galileo cause he defended the planet was round and not flat.
The "world" did not murder Galileo. And his crime was believing the earth revolved around the Sun.
The belief that the earth was round (in one way or another) was fairly common in his time. "

Yes. And I personally know an individual who has a significant number of these symptoms!
Schizotypy or Schizotypal Personality Disorder. |

No! But my ex mother in law still chuffin haunts me |

What an irresponsible thing to say.
There is a little bit more to the diagnosis of STPD than belief in ghosts.
Incidentally, I know a ginger huy who is a bit of a twat. If I meet anyone else who is also a twat, does logical dictate that I should assume they also are ginger? |
