There are so many great horror movies out there but there are also some that are pretty underrated which is a shame as they're quite good. What underrated horror movies do you enjoy?

Mine has to be Warlock (1989) starring Julian Sands and Richard E Grant. This movie is so good and has a good blend of fantasy and horror. The score by Jerry Goldsmith is brilliant as it has elements that give it a very witchy feel.

The Taking of Deborah Logan. It's fantastic and not mentioned enough.

And Tucker and Dale Vs Evil. The film Cabin in the Woods should have been (although I don't *hate* the latter).

Rob Zombies "31"

He gets a bad rap but 31 is definitely under appreciated. I don't think his films were shown in British cinemas

Tucker & Dale is a glorious film. I really liked Cabin In The Woods as well though, to be fair. I thought it was a very clever premise and enjoyed how it descended into increasing silliness.

I don't think any of his films are remotely bad. The Firefly trilogy is superb film making.

"The descent"

The Descent is so brilliant it would work even without the creatures. Being trapped underground, no food, no way out. Horrifying.

Howl is a low-budget British werewolf film that sometimes pops up on Legend or the Horror Channel and is fun and creepy.
