Don't use string on em. We use the metal tie wrap thingys you get with freezer bags. Work a wee treat!!

Get a packet of green plasic hooks. Makes short work of hanging them on the tree.

its the christmas lights.

you put them away all flashing and working.

get them out again and one bulb isnt and you spend ages trying to track it down.
