I decided to try and come up with an admin system after reading a forum post on here about replies and follow up messages.
Decided to block the people who I've messages before and know will never speak to me, block the people who politely decline or with whom conversation has fizzled out (after a while you can't see what your messages were and can't remember why we stopped messaging sometimes, but there's usually a reason), anyone who mentions looking for a particular race of person or anyone who basically wouldn't be up for meeting according to both our criteria.
Probably a bit much, and means the update section is going to be sparse (Edinburgh isn't that active when it comes to Fabbers), but beats being horny over people you know you're never going to meet.
Do you have an admin system? What is it? |

Maybe not as many criteria as you but if my message is deleted I block, if after a few days it’s not read I block.
If it’s read and not replied block.
Block list is horrendous but very effective… |

Yesssss, same with if the message is deleted. That's good though - gotta be clinical sometimes if you're serious about meeting folk on here and not just perving. Good on you! |

It makes sense to block people who you don’t feel you’ll connect with. I used to do it on my single profile.
But now it’s too much like hard work so we only block people who are rude/annoying.
We do state in our profile that we’ll respond to people who make an effort so that means we’ll just delete any blank profiles, one word messages or just dick pics.

Yeah, I do something similar.
Clean up my local feeds from the definitive no's. If its deleted and no reply, cool, message received moving on.
Or if they're a bit of a twunt.
Mostly the last one. |

The block option is very good
It means that I'm not wasting others time
And mine expanding on my polite no thanks
I can bock people who I can see in forum chats are just not going to be people I'd get on with
I don't think it's something to view as bad
It's just an additional filter by a different name |

100% agreed and wish more people saw it like this. It's kinda a polite, preemptive 'no thanks' in a way. I quite appreciate being blocked by someone I've not contacted but have viewed |
