And he had since apologized for and been welcome back.
I'm hearing lots of reports of him being a total knob but from my actual experience of meeting him when I saw him filming an episode of doctor who he was a lovely bloke, took time to chat and have autographs and I watched league of their own being filmed and he was nothing but nice to the audience and this was in 2018.
I'm not saying for a moment he isn't a dick but from my personal experience, I've never witnessed it |

To be honest if the restaurant was that bad I would not go back anyway, ban would be irrelevant, my experience was ruined, expected better from a top restaurant. Banned from Ryanair too not the biggest loss either, James can afford a Virgin. Rudeness yes, I take abuse for my company's poor service and I'd of course ban but for his point of view they should of done better. |

I've just read the story in the metro. I could see nothing about a hair, apparently he was rude to staff about some drinks and threatened to write bad reviews and on another occasion there was a tiny bit of white in his wife's egg yolk omelette. He apologised to the owner by phone  (note note the staff he abused) and the owner has rescinded the ban describing himself as a 'deadbeat, layabout'. Ryanair banned him because of this incident, which seems a bit strange but a bit of free publicity never goes amiss.
I don't want anyone who has other people relying on them for a wage lose their job over something like this though |

What made me laugh was his wife returned a dish made from eggs because it had egg white in it FFS then it returned with fries no salad tell that to those queueing at the food banks |

Yes same in my experience I met him few years back in New York and he couldn’t have been nicer, had a chat, photo and autograph and was happily asking us questions etc…. Not trying to just rush us off, I’ve met way ruder celebs who aren’t as famous - we just remember everyone has bad days including the celebs it’s just they tend to get called out in public for it. |

Cretin refers to someone who has severe lack of thyroid hormones from birth that severely stunts growth and causes mental impairment. Obviously it's rarely seen nowadays but the condition causes causes profound disability.

Ryanair hasn’t banned him- it was just a meme following on from the news…
Balthazar isn’t even a high end restaurant. It’s mid-range. I have breakfast there every month or so. I still can’t fathom an all-egg yolk omelette though.  (or all egg white omelette either)
James Corden- I always see him as the typical example of being at the right place at the right time to shoot to increible fame for not much at all. He was funny in Gavin and Stacey, his co-writer and actor Matthew Baynton in the Wrong Mans is a much, much, MUCH more talented person and Corden is the one who implodes with absurd fame. Go figure. |

If you have an issue with your food - you politely attract the waiter over and in a hushed voice so as not to interfere with other diners enjoyment you make your point and wait patiently for them to correct the issue. The server didn’t do it on purpose - the cheffing staff didn’t do it on purpose - just show some grace and class and be understanding of people who have a far harder , more poorly paid job than you do - you never know where that server may end up.. maybe as an A list celebrity who you want on your show … wouldn’t that be unfortunate…. Society in general needs to take a breath and stop insulting people for a variety of reasons like for trying to do their jobs…. People seem all too quick to label others with all kinds of horrible tags.. they are human beings with feelings and flaws … Be kind seems to be long a distant memory.  |

I’ve always hated him, hated that Smithy character he used to play. Dont know how the fuck he ended up with a talk show in the states (its not just who you know, its who you blow) but everyone I know over there and Canada hate him just as much. Everything I read about him or hear just makes hi sound like a self entitled prick. Apprently he turned up at a cinema I was working at demanding a fuss be made over him coz of a movie be was in for all of 30 seconds. He even played the ‘do you know who I am’ card. Wanker! I have friends who work these jobs and you can tell who the good eggs are from the “don’t you know who I am?” Twats.

If you had actually read any of the news stories you would know this is not the 1st time he has done this in the same restaurant it's been very widely reported that it was the 2nd time and that is why the owner had enough. |

He's been vile from the start, he must have some dirt on someone because there's a lot of the industry who refuse to work with him due to his tantrums, rudeness and rage.

Well Mrs4 was in the trade and she's experienced abuse from customers and lucky enough her bosses had a zero tolerance to it !! and nothing at all to do with the much hyped "Cancel" culture no one ever deserves to be abused doing their job ? |

I once saw Moyles at London Zoo, he appeared to be simultaneously annoyed that he wasn't being recognised while being annoyed at anyone that did recognise him.
Which reminds me of the time I saw Phil Mitchell (well the actor) at Glastonbury trying to be incognito and absolutely lose his shit at a women who recognised him drawing way more attention to himself than she ever could have |
