Unpasteurised Isigny butter.
Gentleman's Relish.
Fresh, thinly sliced avocado with chilli flakes.
Serve with freshly-squeezed blood orange juice, and freshly-ground Blue Mountain coffee.
Thank me later. |

Oh it depends on the type of toast.
Multiseed? Lemon curd or black cherry jam (the good stuff though).
Sourdough toast? Comté. Grilled under the grill. With sesame seeds. Confit garlic. And a good side salad. Maybe like lambs lettuce, radishes, grated carrot to cut through the richness.
Thick white toast? Really good butter. Nothing else. Actually I quite like Dishoom's chilli cheese toast so something like that.

"If it’s cold toast I like cold butter and marmalade. If it’s hot and unsliced I like butter. I like cheese on toast with Lea and Perrins "
Lost me at marmalade but then you redeemed yourself with Lea and Perrins |
