8 miles for the nearest that matches my preferences...
I don't think I have ever seen anything under a mile other than when travelling when I have seen the half mile, never seen the quarter mile myself, although seen loads that close to my fwb (although I guess they are all guys, which rot be fair are probably that close to me also... - UPDATE: checked, yep, 2 guys that close..) |

We'd only turn this on when we're a minimum of 50 miles from home.
People make the assumption that just because you're online you're actively looking for sex at that moment in time, so you'll get a flurry of messages just because you appear to be near people.
It's a function I suspect far more men use than women or couples.
