Derbyshire village

Mrs C took me to it in Sheffield years ago, I'd never heard of it. Five minutes of "what the fuck" and then just laughter (and tears).

Just lovely.

I do like both the film and - even better wearing just black lingerie - seeing it live.

But I will say my one gripe is it peaks too early and plays all its 'hits' too soon.

Minor gripe. And when you see it live they just reprise such as the Time Warp for everyone to dance to anyway lol

Brighton - even Hove!

I’ve seen it live in Brighton and the audience dressed too. It was really funny.

I love rocky horror. Been 4 times now and would still go again. The plot is bonkers but love that most people dress up, the catcalling, the narrator, dancing to the timewarp and that you can join in with the songs. Never known a show quite like it

A cinema in Dublin used to show the film every Friday for 21 years

The first few rows were reserved for regulars who came dressed and had their alternative script even for the cartoons

Seen the show about three times, twice dressed as a maid

It's a great film and for me the acting is perfect. I blame Rocky Horror Show and Lou Reed's "Transformer" for understanding there are alternative sexualities and that is normal. "Holly came from Miami FLA" and "Sweet transexual" are not far apart.

It’s a good film but you need to go and see it on the stage so much better and one else seen it on stage will know what I mean

I saw the stage show before the film. I think I should have watched the film first to have a bit more understanding what was happening as much as I could given its bizarreness

We love it - film and stage versions.

We're had to watch the film twice to understand it, but that was years ago and we've seen it countless times now. (only twice on stage though)

I saw it at Aylesbury a few years ago now! Panicked at the top of the car park looking down as couldn't see many dresses up. I was lacing my corset ready to head down. Luckily we found people lol
