Favourite subject at school??

Technical graphics, engineering and English for me.
I found school academically pretty easy but generally disliked school. Not a fan of the whole building good little worker bees, uniforms, yes sir no sir.

"Hubby like home economics. His teacher did wear a see-through blouse though."
Seriously lucky hubby....then and now.
I can't remember yesterday, let alone over 40 years ago. But my Form mistress??? (The teacher who took the register at the beginning of each day.) Who was coincidently a French Teacher and had a wonderful sexy voice. I was smitten with.
In primary school, I was also smitten with a teacher....who had a wonderful aim with a blackboard rubber. As my head could vouch for.
No real preference to any subject that I can remember now, unfortunately. |

I liked most subjects apart from Maths and Art that involved drawing. I pursued Science (Biology) and Spanish to uni level so maybe they were my absolute favourites? I liked graphics, history, electronics and a bunch of other stuff too |

"German irish and PE. Hated maths i was useless at it. "
I hated Irish when I was in school which I think is a shame but it's largely down to how it was taught. You speak to people from other countries about how they learn English as a second language and it makes you realise how backwards learning Irish was |

History by a country mile. Had the best teacher for GCSE who made everything seem clear and I would go as far as to say it shaped a lot of how I approach my view to the world |

Yes i agree. My teacher was lovely and grew up in gaeltacht so she was fluid in teaching it so made it a lot easier to learn |

Geography, history and sport. Good job I enjoyed the latter we had it every afternoon except Monday.
I wish I could have done chemistry, woodwork & metal work, but was lads only, so I was stuck with Home Tech |
