I find them interesting as I'm sure in a club setting people don't ask age. The important thing is the attraction.
Therefore mine are fairly wide and not really a hard rule |

age limits mean nothing to me, I enjoy good conversation and people with common sense which is highly important to me prior to a meet.
You can have a switched on educated person with common sense at any age just the same as you can have an idiot at any age.
Young or old, age is just a number, I look for maturity in a person. |

Sure. People have age limits. Like buying alcohol, …..
you need to look a certain age, but legally you can be a few years younger but need to ask you for ID. |

Tony- no limits as long as there's attraction.
Cherry - over 35's only as she couldn't imagine sex with someone younger than her children (she has broken that rule in clubs on occasion if unaware of their age ) |

Every now and then I get a message from someone who has 40 something on their profile and a few messages in, says - ‘oh btw, I’m 32, I’m sure it doesn’t matter but I thought I’d say’. I find it a real pain in the arse. |

"Just re read our profile anyone know how to remove the word only from an age preference?"
You can't remove the word "only", it is on everyone's profile . You could either extend your age limit or put a comment in your profile regarding it. |

"My views it are people's bodies aren't equal opportunities, if someone wants to have an age limit that's up to them "
This.
Personally, my lower age limit isn't negotiable, while the upper end has a lot more variability, depending on chemistry and attraction. |

It’s down to true person’s preference so it’s up to them honestly I’ve had a few meets that I was under their lower limit but that because I didn’t throw a wobbly about it |

your wildest dreams, |
Have to respect someone else’s desires. Personally, I just don’t want younger than my own children, but other than that, age is really nothing more than a number. Some very mature young people, and immature older people. As for looks and body, again, age is not always an indication of what you’ll find |

We are an age gapped couple, I'm 22 and HM is 55. His daughter is the same age as myself and we are good friends.
We get a lot if messages on fab saying love the age gap, from women and couples of different age groups, which says to us that people are more open minded than they 7sed to be. And we have only had one comment in the three years of being together, and that was from an estate agent who asked are you looking to buy for yourself or your dad? When I said he's my partner not my dad, the estate agent said... "How do I find a younger woman?"
We don't think age matters. If you are aged 18-99 and the law says its legal to be here and you have personally chosen (and not pressured) to come to a place like fab to enhance your sexual desires and experiences, and genuinely here to play and not waste other poeoles time. Then play away and have lots of good times.
After all aren't we as swingers, sharing ourselves with others supposed to be more open minded? |

I find this really complicated. Some people look great for their age at 60, others look like an old boot. If we open our filters for that we always get overloaded with older men trying their luck regardless of us not having men in our "looking for" criteria so we keep it 10 years lower. We've only just recently raised it to that too, as had over 45s restricted but as we're getting older we thought we'd move the goalposts a bit.

I walk into a pub/club/shop/gym......
A very attractive man catches my eye. We talk for a while. I take a liking to him.
Our paths cross once or twice and eventually we go for a coffee..... or two ... arrange a night out/in ..... hit it off ..... have sex .......
At what point should I have asked his age ?

"A boundary that should be respected. "
I've had guys message me where I'm over their age range , when I've said to them about it, they say age is just a number, yes it is, but if you've (them) got age range set at a limit then that's what you're interested in, Plus it works the other way, I've got a limit set, if I was looking outside of that then I would change it |

Probably when you’re having coffee if you feel he looks like he might be close to below or above your usual age limits. You could just see if it comes up naturally in conversation. If not then probably pillow talk after you’ve had sex |

I hear what you’re saying and agree mostly. But I think on here, age limits are not always fixed. I’ve said on my profile when I was actively looking for people ‘my upper age limit is flexible but my lower limit is not’. I just set it to probably the oldest age that someone has shown an interest in me. Women have messaged me and I’m clearly below their age limits but I don’t mind that if I feel like they’re genuinely interested in me. I understand that people can surprise you. You might not be generally interested in a 25 year old because they’re generally not interested in similar things to you but one or two might be and so you message them? Idk |

Age isn't much of a factor with us
We care more about other things like personality, intelligence, cleanliness, politeness, and so on...
Just prefer more mature meets than younger ones is all, they seem to work better for us somehow. |

I think they're a good thing. 35 and under for me which is still 12 years older than i am. I think being with anyone old enough to be my parent would be a bit awkward for everyone. |

My age limits are for this site. I meet older people at clubs and events and from the forums (shock horror)
If my filters are open and anyone can message its like opening the water gate for gross messages. My age filters limit the "ick" I have to wade through. |

It's a preference, you can't judge people for what or whom they're attracted to. Some are into older, some are into younger. You can't be everyone's cup of tea, regardless of age limits. Fab their pics and move on |

My preference mid thirties to 60ish but no hard limits really within the 18 to 99 I always respect everyone's preferences on here, be rude not to but seems odd to say yes to a 49 year old 5 days before their birthday then in a week it's a definate hard no. |
