Does anyone have any recommendations on an actual good horror?

Preferably on either netflix, prime or Disney.

I had a look last night and couldn’t find anything. I’ve heard the Fear Street films on Netflix are decent but I don’t think they’re really scary.

Yeah we watched them a while ago, they were ok but you're typical slasher.

No chance! The exorcism afterwards would be to emotionally draining.

Mine this year is Smile and the new Halloween. It’s like my Christmas has come early with these releases.

No help for your Netflix question. Just wanted to add my first thoughts on horrors this year.

The fear street films are pretty decent but you're right, they aren't scary, just gory.

Love a good slasher but not when they're so predictable

.

Werewolf by Night is on Disney and is a neat little homage to a particular genre of horror but delightfully updated.

You've probably seen Tucker and Dale Vs Evil, there's also The Witch, Midsommar, The Dark and the Wicked. Oh oh! Incantation is on Netflix and is fantastic.

I'm going to watch Rec shortly while trying to do my hair; can't beat a modern classic.

Yep that's the one! Prefer it to the Hollywood one but that one is still quite enjoyable.

Yes Rec is very scary. At least the first one. The second isn’t bad at all. Third one is debatable though

More of a teeny slasher trilogy. X
