Vegan Refuses to Kill Mice

An Essex vegan living in a terrace refused to kill the mice infesting her home because of her vegan beliefs. But the mice were running amok in neighbouring houses and the council ordered her to bring in pest control. The vegan was hauled before the courts and felt the wrath of the judge.

Is a vegan not allowed to control an epidemic of mice in their houses. What are the rules on this. It's all over the news ...

Lancs

If there is an infestation and the vegan is responsible for it, either directly by being a filthy bugger or indirectly by being unfortunate enough to live where the mice have chosen to be, then the vegan is responsible for ensuring it is dealt with - especially if the infestation is affecting neighbouring homes.

I would expect a local authority to take enforcement action against anyone who fails to deal with a pest infestation, regardless of their dietary choices.

Our kids were in school with the children of parents who refused to treat their nits.

I don't know where you draw the line but I used a bit comb on our kids every night for a year.

Wasn’t she feeding them also ?.I would be extremely pissed off if I lived next door to her it’s quite selfish as it’s not just affecting her .

Tom was in a barber shop once and a lady brought in her two young boys for haircuts. The barber refused as they were riddled with lice. The woman went mental and started that she used natural remedies and not chemicals. Tom does not know if she was vegan but she dressed like one and looked the type. Jesus sandals and long flowing purple skirt .. Tom can spot a vegan at 50 paces

You can get traps that don't kill the mice, but sounds like the dirty fucker didn't treat early enough n the problem get out of hand, so just shows this vegan isn't really an animal lover, if problem is that bad then pest control will be called in n kill em all.

Titz Towers, North Notts

In a parallel world, there are a group of mice online complaining about an infestation of humans in their houses and how one of their number isn't doing anything about it

The mice were causing property damage to the neighbouring houses. There was also a strong smell of urine.

A vegan is not entitled to inflict this on their neighbours.

I suspect the elderly lady in question has mental health issues.

Thankfully Environmental health legislation trumps the occasional over kindnesses of some who feed critters to the extent it's a problem..

It does sound antisocial. Not as bad as my neighbours mind.

Just a few days ago they slaughtered some poor creatures, tore the skin from their dead bodies, chopped them into pieces and burned their corpses in the garden.

The stench of death was everywhere
