Isn't it weird how with all the injustice available for us to rail at, we are taking down a couple of light entertainers who used a press pass to jump a queue along with several hundred others. Never seen a dead cat bounce for so long... |

Not interested in the witch hunt but definitely tired of them as presenters amongst a few others who are overstaying their natural tenure on other shows.
Everything has a shelf life, time to refresh I think. |

Just in case you were living under a rock
Holly and Phil are 2 daytime TV presenters who apparently jumped a queue to see the late Queen laying in memoriam (memorial?)
There's little evidence to support it and now the public have demanded they be sacked
But let's focus on the real issues while the world falls apart lol |

I know, though as dead cats go it has barely distracted from the government.
But it has been interesting to watch how people have been so outraged about this, we do love a queue! |

I’m just as clueless and I have no idea who they’re talking about. From what I gather in this thread so far, they are presenters on television and have used their press pass to jump some sort of a queue, much to many Britons’ chagrin. |

It's almost like one of them has recently come out publicly about their personal life which people don't want to admit their hatred for so they're finding the most absurdly pathetic excuses to attack them, isn't it? |

They used a press pass to legitimately get access to the late Queen's laying in state without queuing. What seems to have annoyed people more than anything is that David Beckham did queue. These same people would probably turn on David Beckham if he puts a well shod foot wrong. |

Thank you for the explanation. It seems people are focusing on the wrong point. They wanted to pay their respects. How they chose to and managed to do it is rather beside the point. We all use our privileges how we may. I doubt if they were the only ones to do so. |

yes two presenters who got tickets free for some reason and got plagerised for jumping queues I'm not a fan of Phil schofield but Holly willoughbooby yes love her lol  |

Austerity caused 330,000 excess deaths, profiteering on Covid contracts was rampant, the economy is heading towards meltdown, people are crowdfunding funerals. However, 2 people legitimately using a press pass is what is being whipped up as an issue.

They were there in their capacity as press apparently, so they could report on the experience in their show. |
