Merrily on my way to the gym today for deadlift Friday when I get a flat tyre.

No problem. I know how to change them. It'll take no time at all! Pull in somewhere safe. Get all the gubbins out and......I can't get the wheel nuts off

There's no locking wheel nut. I try standing on the tyre iron but all that seems to do is bend the bloody thing?!

So now I'm say outside a pub waiting for the AA to come out and change my tyre like a silly little thing! (Silly because I can and have done it before!)

How's your Friday going?

You’re lucky you’ve got a spare , this flipping thing I drive doesn’t have one . Other than that hope you get to have a training session. Staying positive for a fabulous Friday

Thank you xx

This is a space saver one but I think I'd hate to have no spare!

What you need is a suitable strong tube to lengthen your tyre iron ..shove one in your boot for next time

Never use that shite! It binds to your alloy and never comes off! Instead of having to get a tyre changed which is relatively inexpensive, you'd need to get a whole new alloy

I was trying to work out how a tyre iron binds to alloys for a second lol

Spent hours using the longest extensions trying to get a wheel off an LDV van, bent the thing properly. Then noted the nut had a an arrow showing it was threaded the other way…. We’d been tightening it…
