This thread is to bring some balance to the objectifying of politicians.
Ladies, and anyone else for that matter, are there any male politicians that take your fancy and what would you do with them? |

I think my judgment would be clouded by whether or not they represent the "right" or the "wrong" party (my opinion only, of course).
I could not with the best intention find an attractive Tory because of what they have been doing and what they stand for.
And I like intelligence above anything, so that is also a bit of a challenge to find.
I know I am going to get shredded here lol but I did ratherlike (for his wit) .... John Bercow.

"I can't say I find any of them sexually attractive. I'd like to chat to Dennis Skinner, as he's great. Also, Rory Stewart would probably be interesting, for a tory. " Actually I agree to Rory, he is one of the better ones. |

You raise a decent point.
However, I have seen women drooling over Tom hardy, Jason mamoa etc and no one gets uppity and starts saying we should only appreciate Tom hardy for his acting chops.
Are people only allowed to drool over people who are generally considered good looking. If someone fancies someone unconventional, like a politician, is it then questioned and we should only be appreciative of that person's skills, not looks.
End of the day, people fancy people, people think people are attractive. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I can't think of a single one I could fancy now.
There is an ex-MP I used to see regularly through work. On paper, in photos in did nothing for me but the first time I met him I was drawn to him and had to really concentrate to not act like a dewy eyed girl.

Have you seen anyone suggest hate fucking Jason Mamoa? Fucking him hard up the arse as punishment? Smashing his back doors in?
No.
Saying someone is sexually attractive is fine. Suggesting someone in a position of considerable responsibility can be boiled down to their outfit choice isn't as horrendous as the nasty sex comments but it's very objectifying and is typical of how women are treated (still). |

Leading politicians are high achievers, obviously clever and with good social skills to get that far. I imagine many of them are extremely attractive and charismatic in person. It's mostly a media image and tribal loyalties which make people say otherwise, plus misogony where female politicians are concerned.
And to answer the OP, I think Sir Kier looks great at 60 in a suit (less so when he dresses down like he's off to an Oasis tribute act) and Dominic Raab is certainly handsome and fit. |
