Live At The River Plate is being shown on BBC4 tonight at 9pm.

If you're a fan and haven't seen it or if you love some GREAT live rock n roll watch this.

It's the perfect antidote to The X-Factor and also proves they are still one of the best live acts on the planet...

Almost.

I think the Maiden thing is a documentary about the last tour. Should be interesting as it was a great tour. I saw them at Notts Ice Arena.

Got the DVD and it is one hell of a concert well worth a look even if you are not really a fan, the wife hated them till she heard Highway to heel from the film iron man and will now listen to most tracks by them.

Been a fan since I was 12 and have every album made including imports

My dad took me to Donington when I was a kid (1984). It was my first concert and that day pretty much changed my life forever. I saw AC/DC and Van Halen on the same day!

I've travelled all over the world to see both bands, I saw Van Halen on their reunion with Dave tour a couple of years ago in Ft Lauderdale.

Aww bless I was old enough to cop off with a very good looking guy from Sutton Coldfield at the concert, if I remember correctly....

Haha! Nice old reference there.

Just got in from seeing AC/DC tribute band tonight.

It's been a great night

The crowd were throwing a pair of knickers around. It was like a little butterfly.

Kate said "shall I throw mine?" I said "better not, yours'll cover the front four rows"

I wasn't the only one to notice they were tuned a semi tone flat then. Usually they play in E standard.
