Anyone had a successful hair treatment or transplant for receding hairline in this country? Luckily I have a full head of hair (admittedly thinner) but a friend is struggling with that and currently looking into it. Anyway I though I ask in case any of you or someone you know had experience.  |

So Bob is considering a hair transplant but instead of contacting a surgeon, researching the process, looking at before and after stories, he...asks his friend Bill to log on to a swinger's forum and ask on his behalf? |

Not an experience of transplant but as a woman, I have suffered hair loss. I understand how debilitating it can be for your mental health.
At first I saw my GP. then I saw a trichologist. The trichologist was able to restore my hair.
Along my journey I have followed other black women on Youtube who have had hair transplants so I have a vague idea what to expect.
I suggest he see a dermatologist and a trichologist first to see if the follicles are dead. If the follicles are dead then he can move on to researching the hair transplant surgery.
One British black lady that I follow had hers done in Turkey and she is about 6 months post-op and doing well.
It is a major surgery so I would hope your friend can mentally prepare for the strain and any possible complications.

I haven’t heard any bad experiences but I have seen the hair of Nicolas Cage or John Travolta and I sure don’t want to look like that.
I may do it in the future as I have started to lose mine but I’ll use DHI method if I do and if it hasn’t evolved into another better method. |

The most successful treatment I found was to buy some clippers, shave it all off and then use al the extra cash I had from not having to pay for haircuts/shampoo etc to buy sex toys and go to swingers clubs.
Saves hours of time getting ready to go out, less stress on deciding which side to have a parting and if it gets cold I just wear a hat.
I never contribute to the hoover or bath plughole clogging up either.

Lol sure and probably I would do similar but for some people it's a big deal and I want to be supportive but do get uour point. |

There is a great clinic in Paris but quite expensive compared to what you can get in turkey. |
