I went on a blind date once. I would go on a normal blind date but not a fab one.

I would imagine such things as this site, clubs and organised socials would make blind dates a relic of the past.

I think most first dates are blind as far as knowing the person is concerned though.

Better to build a connection with someone than a total stranger that might not be for you.

Was set up on a blind date years ago from a mate. Had nothing in common with the guy the chats were strained and awkward.

It was evident neither of us wanted to be there and just done it to shut are mate up.

When there's so many ways to find dates. Why would you go on a blind date

I'd LOVE to do one of those proper blind dates, in a blacked out restaurant. They were popular for a while last century... There was one just under London Bridge I walked past every day, and I often wanted to try it - I guess it's needing someone to set you up that's the issue for most, because ideally that means someone who knows you both for a traditional blind date...

This question assumes that we've stopped.

That's why I like you. Oversexed, pretty and confused.

Lovely qualities in a man

I'd find it interesting to meet someone I might not have had a chance to otherwise. To find out about them, their life, hopes, future goals etc. I might make a new friend, we might hate each other but it would be an experience.

It's nice to chat to strangers, but I can do without the hopes and possible expectations from it.

I used to meet friends at the pub only to find they'd brought a lady to introduce me to.

That must be a blind-blind date.
