She was ELEVEN and didn't just decide one day to kill cats like a psycho....
She was sold a 'they'll never know what's happening' story by her mum. Which is fucked up on so many levels.... Her mum shouldn't have asked a child to do what she couldn't.
She said it haunted her....

Absolutely. The media have gone with horrible headlines. But the deeper context of the story in her book is appalling of her mother. Specifically as she describes her mother changing her mind but saying they couldn’t stop.
I can only imagine the trauma caused to her at that age. |
