.. is on Saturday May 6th, when Camilla will also be crowned Queen.
It’s also the same as Archie’s, son of Harry & Meghan, birthday.
Are you looking forwards to it?
Do you like a bit of pomp and ceremony or do you think it’ll all be a waste of tax payers money? |

I am very much looking forward to it, however if the reports are true it's a very slimmed down version, I'm not sure but feel like we are getting short changed in someway THAT said, if it is slimmed down and with how the country is going at the moment, then it's the right tone in terms of not spending so much money but at the same time, having the big thing would generate more money (I would imagine) for business.
I am all for the most of the royals and big celebrations as it does tend to bring the nation together, I know some people moan about the cost (anyone would think they are personally taken to the cash point and told to get the cash out or its on their payslip in a separate tax bracket for £50 a month or something!).

100% in support. Royals support charities, bringing awareness and donations, provide recognition to outstanding individuals which creates unity in country, stabilise political turbulence, and the old one of bringing tourism. The question is: why do people think £1 or £2 annually from your tax is a waste when there’s plenty of people who sit at home all day on benefits not contributing to anything like they do? |

Yes, the director is having a word in my ear.
There’s some breaking news ..
Ah yes. Apparently it’s “Queen Consort” for Camilla. That’s “Queen Consort”.
For avoidance of doubt, Camilla will be crowned Queen Consort.
Let’s hope that’s cleared that up! |

Because they're the biggest benefits scroungers of all.
They should be abolished. |

The next sponger in line just inherited the Duchy of Cornwall, valued at £1Bn. Why does the taxpayer have to pay for anything for them? |

It’s very inconvenient you know, this crowning of the King and Queen*, it’s the same day as the planned last day of the Football season for League 1 and 2 sides. I presume they’ll have to be moved?

Coronation will be in the morning
They will still do it… just probably have them all as 3pm kickoffs…
Or if they do have the extra bank holiday I assume they would just shift them all to that day (which might not be the worst thing as you could do the league 1’s with 12pm kickoffs and the league 2’s with 4pm kickoffs) |

they will have to change something as normally as you say the kick off times are staggered on the last day between the divisions, otherwise have them all kickoff at 5pm?
I’m more concerned about this than the Coronation to be fair! |

Failing that it's a load of old bollocks innit? Imho Camilla might be a mealy faced moo... But frankly she's served her time in the waiting in the wings like a divorcee scorned woman... I was thinking Kings Esc*ort.....Ford Esc*ort.....Old Banger.
I like Royalty, good entertainment charities, scandals, stately homes.
I don't get the fact Charles can become King and head of the Church. When Edward and Margaret couldn't marry divorcees and be Monarchs.
Charles gets his cake and everything else.

Nor can they marry catholics: is that not prejudice sponsored by the CofE? It's one thing telling your boss who to marry and all that, but the rest of the family tree is a bit too far. Imagine if your employer told you that...
The Church of England was born out of divorce, funny how they (CofE) never celebrates this fact.

Thos iscwhat annoys me, we are stuck with a monarchy and have the least bank holidays of any country in Europe and we are expected to buy in to it but not even a day off in real terms. It's pretty contemptuous |
