So I decided enough is enough, I will get fit.

I worked out yesterday and everything, yay me . I even ate spinach!

But I'm already making excuses in my head to not do it tonight.

Can someone please shout at me or send a "get off your fucking arse message" around 8pm? In return I'll send a pic of me hot, sweaty and extremely unattractive?

Nothing just sitting around that’s the point there is no destinations to say oooo I get it after this and then on to the next thing and then remember you were working out but by that time it’s 10 and to late you just get it tomorrow and you tell your selfs it’s ok

And then when tomorrow comes it’s the exact same

Before you know it it’s the end off the week and it’s sod this and give it up all together

Start small, doesn't have to be hard on you. 10 mins is enough as it's more than zero every time.

Don't make it a thing. Like, pop the kettle on and whilst it boils do a dozen standing arm presses against the wall.

After a week make it 20 etc

Before a shower lay down and do a quick 10 stomach crunches.

You don't always have to sweat to burn calories or shape up.

I started in lockdown doing 10/15 min sets low reps and added a few each week until I hit about 100reps and when I reached my goals then I backed off a little at a time until I now have a 'maintenance' workout.

No time for gym or classes. Bitesized sets are perfect and painless

I'm totally with you. I've piled weight on due to stress and feeling crap. I know I need to exercise and I know I will 100% feel better for it. A new gym has opened in town today, have I gone and signed up today?...no. Am I going tomorrow?...no.

I'm going to go on Wednesday.

Good luck with your motivation, I hope you find it and enjoy doing some exercise.

No the aftershave is JP, Pt is pressure testing. But I don’t quite know why you would do a 10 mile test, adjust and balance of a HVAC

I found setting yourself a goal, that usually works for me.

I need to get motivated to lose some weight, I am entering the London to Brighton bike ride. I have done it in the past witjout training, but this year I want to get my PB.

2023/24 I am hoping to do the coast to coast bike ride, so I need to get my fat arse motivated and on the bike.

The key is to grind, when that voice in your head says no don’t bother do it tomorrow, you need to talk to that inner bitch, tell her you are doing it, once you start doing that, whole new avenues open up because you are no longer listening to the little bitch with little ideas and little life, the most dangerous people on the planet have conquered their inner monster, they don’t display this outwardly as that is letting the monster out for public show, little bitch monster stays where she belongs….
